Can't believe how fast my hip is deteriorating ...

I am experiencing the same thing with my left hip. 3 months ago I was doing great and had no clue I had AVN. Now 3 & one-half weeks before surgery I cannot get around without a cane. I fear my hip will break and then I will fall!

Hello all...had a very busy few days, getting the 'nest' ready!! thanks to all the above, count down now, go in tomorrow morning at 7.30am, not sure where I am on the list, so I will go with the mindset of being the 'patient ...patient'!!
Got HUGE colly wobbles....I just wish I was the other side

kim22...the meds I had prescribed from the docs are not worth taking for me...nothing works they all bung me up so much so if I take anything its ibuprofen and that doesn't always do much....one week now and so much still to do, just want the house all clean and straight before the op, silly really but its almost like how a mum feels when they are about to have a baby!!

I know just how you feel. My surgery is Aug. 10 and I'm trying to get everything in order by Sunday. Meds are not working, and the pain seems to have increased since last week so I've been moving at a snails pace and taking more "break's" than usual! I'm starting to feel very nervous and can feel the anxiety building! This forum has been very helpful though, and I'm so glad I found it. Lot's of support and good advice. So...hang in there, we're going to get through this just fine
