THR Aussie's Posterior LTHR

@MyAussieGirl I was 4 pages behind, so I gave up trying to read them, I am sorry... insulin and surgery non-money events YAY!! I know how that feels-- hubby had a surgery in January of my first hip's year. I didn't pay nearly as much as I could have, and then,,,, everything for the entire rest of the year, June-Dec, was FREE!!!!!

MyAussieGirl, so glad you are back in the game. Had a long day with some family stuff..my dear sister who has been so kind to me had to have a toe amputated...she's a severe diabetic...she will be fine but it was unexpected as I didn't even know she was having trouble. She didn't want to 'burden me with it. Really upset me.
You know we really are going to be fine as frog hair by this time next year and I refuse to let things I have no control over make me nuts. We can! I can ! P can!

Hi @MyAussieGirl
So how's our Aussie Girl today? Still improving I hope....
Get any swimming in today?
Hopefully your rash is still fading, your gut is restoring itself and you continue to amuse us with your delightful humor. Hope you had a great day!

@Mojo333
Sorry to hear about your sister, How selfless of her not wanting to trouble you while you continue to heal yourself. So sad for her and an adjustment I imagine also.

Fine as frog hair, hahaha! That's one I've never heard. This site affords us free entertainment, gotta love it!
A great Sunday to you!

Lol OMG @GrannyC my news it's that good :rofsign: don't be a breaking your fingers checking here I promise I will tag you in my thread AND yours..
Though I do have a small medium update today.

OH MY @zauberflöte I wouldn't read the last 4 pages of my thread either it's like high drama on the sea :bigfish: all up and down.

Back to the medical lol sad ill health has a pay off in a way but uber cool..that we are riding the road to well free now :fasthorse:

I hope to make it around the site tonight Saturday is my busiest day.. church ...beach...clean....pets...hubby blah blah blah ya know

Huge ole hugs

Aww @Mojo333 I am sad for your sister as a diabetic I know the fear. I will pray for her. I would have tried to spare you too... family does that ya know. She knew you had you and dad and well I think she's stand up.

Keep telling me and you this time next year we'll be fine ...though. Grrrr I used that term in here long ago and now @Layla thinks you said it first.... growls at you... Copyright infringement if you ask me :froggies: thanks for checking on me I have a small update in a few

Hugs to send to sis

Ahhhh @Layla ...Cindy whatever your name be....thanks for checking on me in small update in my diary of ups and downs soon. I did go to church to the beach and so much ....all in all a nice busy day Saturday always is....Mega hugs and watch mojo she stoled my fine as frog's hair

Update. I had 6 days in diarrhea free but tonight was hit with a round....the plus was 6 days no meds eating whatever I wanted. The minus is I thought it was all gone. I took two Imodium AD then said screw it and had 2 tacos.

That's my adopted southern vernacular coming out...didn't know you had used it first. Think I'll have to scroll through and see if that's true.
When I first moved to Georgia my best girlfriend who grew up here had a basket load of crazy sayings.
My favorite.."that's ugly as pootin' in church"
Still cracks me up:rotfl:

@Mojo333 I am really sorry about your sister. I think she was just trying to save you from any more stress by not saying anything so I wouldn't be too hard on her. Now you can offer her the support she needs as she heals from this surgery. You are blessed to have such a great sister!

It is good to see you feeling more positive again @MyAussieGirl . And good for you not to get upset over one "episode." It might not even be the virus you know. Those things just happen from time to time to everyone for who knows what reason. I read on another thread how your hubby still opens the car door for you after over 20 years, makes you sugar free pie, paints your toe nails, so if he isn't a saint, maybe a Prince Charming? No matter what you call him, he sounds like a keeper for sure :yes!:

I can't recall which person's thread I used it in . I use it often it's my favorite. Your church one is funny too...keep us posted on sister @Mojo333 it's hard , my sis in law lost a toe then more and emotionally it's just so hard on them . Hugs

I have a question for you all. Last night in bed I layed on my operated side as my poor non operated side has been getting worse and I have laid on it only for 3 plus months. So I am not sure if I was just starting to go to sleep or what but bang my non operated leg like spasmed. It hurt too and passed. Rather startled me. Normal for smashing it laying on it so often??? @Josephine??? See question 2 below also please.

Also can a virus really last 6 weeks or so???? The doctor told me this one could go that long but I am not so sure. Thank you one and all.

MAG, can you spell check your post? Some of the words are rather curious!

I'd answer your question but where is the virus affecting you?

Sorry @Josephine honestly I don't have a spell check. If I do I don't know how to find or use it this is my phone. I had a rash that's almost gone. I still have very intermittent diarrhea. I made 6 days without then one very loose stool. Doctor said it could go on up to 6 weeks. True or not? Your opinion is valued by next. Thank you

Oh and @Josephine please note second question above yours on my non operated leg jump/spasm... I wondered if I am laying on the leg too much I get up and it's numb on one side . The side that touches the bed or sofa. Thanks you rock !!

Yeah. Been up to hospital most of today....I hate the hospital. I'm too spastic to sit and comfort quietly.
Jury still out on another toe next to one they took...letting antibiotics do their thing.
Don't know why that leg wants to spasm like that.

.Couldn't wait to sleep on my side But not as comfortable as it used to be. I've been so protective for so long have mental thing.
Knock off the stupid Mexican food...probably not hurting but eat a chicken pot pie from KFC or something.
Give your gut a break you dipwad....another southern endearment.lol

@MyAussieGirl and @Mojo333 you two are a hoot to listen to :heehee: I have a friend who was raised in Alabama, and she has some really good ones, but I can't think of anything now. "This time next year" was a theme around here when I was last on-- none of us was getting perfect instantly, and we had to resign ourselves that it is indeed a verrrrry long recovery. I was better after two years than I had been after one, and just a year ago started strengthening up the side of hip #1 to the point that I'm very comfortable with the "golfer's reach" style of picking up stuff off the floor, feeding cats etc.

MAG, how about, your bed's too hard? That would scare me, a spasm! But I know I have so many sensitive spots that almost any bed is too hard except memory foam or water. And sooo sorry about the return of the virus's revenge! I can believe that a virus would take that long to run its course. I have to agree with Mojo, be nice to the tummy, although I would have said honey toast and cottage cheese rather than KFC (unless that was a joke that I didn't get?) cos I would hate to give the virus a reason to wreak more vengeance.

*I* am going to church *twice* today, I beatcha! Our own service is at 9:30, which is just too early for my stage of recovery, so we showed up at 11:00 for "Fifth and Food" and the pastor's wife's baby shower. Then in half an hour we're going back where we went last Sunday, for supper and Compline, half an hour of music. Lovely.
