THR Aussie's Posterior LTHR

Hi MyAussieGirl,
Sorry your still feeling under the weather but I'm sure you are relieved to have a diagnosis.
Now that you realize what you're dealing with you can better concentrate on healing the virus, dermatitis, addressing your dietary / weight loss issues as well as your concern over the narcotics. Hopefully you can continue on with this doctor who sounds as though he's on top of things. I wish you continued healing emotionally and physically. Get some good rest and I'll bet all will look brighter in the morning. Sweet Dreams!

Thank you @GrannyC I like my family doctor as far as I know he is a good doctor but he is so unpleasant and thought right up till I saw the surgeon that I just wanted to get pain meds from him.

I'll itch less too with the cream he gave me. You're very thoughtful.

Re: weight loss
I was referencing the 8 lb weight loss over the course of a week you had mentioned in your update post.
A peaceful night to you!

Meant no insult but in taking a second look at your photo it looks like you could use a shave...Lol!

@MyAussieGirl what great news. It won't be long and you will be good as new health wise. Try and get extra rest and keep up the fluids and probiotics. A day hold onto the wonderful memories, all 12.5 years worth from your Shadow. What a blessing to have had your boy for many years. Though I know we are never ready to say goodbye as they become family and much loved. I wish you well. Cheryl

I don't think a million years would be enough time for me and my dog @cpollock have to brag on him he was smart and beautiful he was in 8 calendars. We worked on Epilepsy Awareness and education. I carry on for him. Sweet post thank you ...no hearts in here to post.

Glad you reminded me to take my probiotic. Thank you

MyAussieGirl, glad you got some answers... Hope the cream is helping with that rash.
Bet the swimming for more for you than all that other.
I know outside always makes me better and it's way too hot to be outside without being wet.
I fished and swam and played with my great-nieces this weekend... They had a slip and slide they wanted me to get on. I wasnt getting anywhere near that thing. Don't want to slip, don't want to slide.
Hope you have a better day!!!

Your Shadow sounds like he was beyond special, an extraordinary dog. Amazing actually. Did you post a picture on here somewhere that I Missed? The dog picture on here you I thought you said was your newer dog. Hugs to you. I hope you are kicking that viruses butt. I wish you well. Cheryl

Hi MyAussieGirl,
I hope you had a restful sleep overnight and are feeling better today than you were yesterday.
Now that you know what your dealing with I'll bet you'll be as good as new in no time.
A peaceful evening to you!

Aww @Mojo333 you know me well the water always be picks me up. I think you must be a water sign too... fishing and swimming can it get any better? I am glad to know what it is but once the runs stop I'll be lol gladder :loll:

I haven't put a picture of Shadow up @cpollock because when I try to it sez they are too big. I will try again when I have time and a charged battery lol.... I may not be able to. I can say he was an incredibly loving and loyal dog/friend to me. A sweet face and soul wrapped in a yellow Labrador retriever body.

Thank you @Layla so far so good I'll post a more detailed update in 32 hours as I will have more accurate info. I did sleep well once I got to sleep. And today wasn't too bad. I think my rash is slowly going away slowly ...soon yet but the cream sure helps me keep my mitts off my legs. I was sooooo itchy, Again thank you

I wanted you to see this as you're busy and spent so much time with me.
MAG, I always have time for my members. Right now you all are my life!

Josephine sure is an angel, isn't she? I'm glad yesterday went smoothly for you. I'm sure it is somewhat of a relief just to know what the problem is for sure. A couple good nights sleep will help a lot, too. Take care and keep us updated when you can.
