Yay! Your little jumping munchkins......you still have your sense of humor in all of this.

It's good to hear from you but sad to hear that your struggles continue. Intestinal problems are no fun. You never know what to expect or what the next meal may bring. If it's a virus, 6 weeks is a long time but not unheard of. I hope you can find a tolerable diet to stay on until this clears up. I'm sorry you have to go thru the hassle of collecting and sending off samples. No fun! Don't know if you've ever had a colonoscopy but the diet prep and laxative portion are worse than the procedure itself. Way easier than a joint replacement! I hope you get a definitive answer on all soon so you can work your way back to feeling better.
I'll continue to remember you in prayer.

These viruses can be frustrating! It is a bit of up and down as your body fights it off. Take care and rest as much as you can. You are run down from all this.

Yes @GrannyC I agree this doctor seems very thorough and nice he spoke to me personally on the phone rare in some of these huge practices.

Jury is still out on virus, bacteria or parasite...heck even my intestines took a beating from constipation and stool softeners the doctor said @Jaycey but I await with trusty poop kit to maybe find out more this next 2 weeks. Some of the tests take a while. Thank you always a sweet person you
 
Thanks @gaulsuerou it's good to see you I am so behind my apologies for not keeping up....yes it's been a real rollercoaster ride in this crazy world of mine. I have to say surgery has been easier than this bug. Hugs to you
 
Lol you snuck that post in @cpollock I am not well but with the doctor doing what he has I am feeling very hopeful to seeing and end to this. I just got all the cobwebs in the house....Jeeze I wanna just lay.

Yes I have had a colonoscopy wayyyyy back @Layla I agree the prep is....hell-o I'd rather have surgery. The scope piece of cake. I dunno want one. I hope I have a bug they find
 
I'm still waiting on a date for my next hip and where.

I'll know more on that and fecal poo testing in 2 weeks
 
Ok off to watch a movie with hubby but I forgot to mention day 3 maybe 4 of no Percocet even my teeny one half a tab a night and no problem .... I hope @Josephine sees this it has been a cake walk.
 
I have a question of you @Josephine please. As you know I was on stool softeners per my OS 2 x a day for 3 months due to the pain meds. Even with the stool softeners I still was very constipated... I then got diarrhea . Two weeks later I still have it. My regular doctor thinks a virus but I am to do tons of collecting for tests on my diarrhea for bacteria, parasites etc. My question ruling this all out have you ever heard of someone just needing MUCH time to heal their bowels from the pain meds side effects?? I am still seeing the doctor but this is frustrating very frustrating.
