A little anxious for March

Just take one day at a time. As long as you don't push yourself, you'll do fine.

I am going to remain optimistic at this point and go ahead with surgery. After contemplating the options and thinking how recovery was from the FAI surgery 9 months ago, I will set my goal to make the 2.5-3 hour car trip just 2 days shy of 5 weeks post op. No lost $ if I can’t go. I do have the option of not going to the field. I was given a Breg VPulse in June and I loved it. The ice/compression on my hip was incredible and I lived in it the first week if not two weeks and I believe that’s why I was out walking a block away at one week. I started PT at 6 weeks and have been attending weekly since. I was back at work after 2 weeks (I work part time 25 hrs) working 16 hours. I have a desk job, I’m the only one based in the office so I am able to move around when I need to and have even done some of my exercises there. My employers are great and are giving me the all the time I need. So given past experience and having talked it out with my husband, I am going ahead with it. I made it through the tourney last year. I just can’t imagine the pain/discomfort being worse. If there is any doubt the last week of April, I will stay home to rest up for the one 3 weeks later. That’s all I can do hope for the best but be prepped for the worst.
