I was never one much for bicycle riding though I am trying to convince my wife we need a stationary recumbent bike as it really helps me get the knee "loosened up". Oh yeah, my OS every time I see him says full recovery is one year! So roughly 3 months down stream I am 25% healed! :)

Gee. that means at 100% you'll be on the senior tour!

Maybe at age 50 I had the game but the competition now would be just too tough!

But with your recovery, golfing at 100% without the pain should increase your game with practice by a few good points.
Else you can try every fad device sold and lower your handicap by at least 20 points! :)

@JustJeff I have always believed one can "buy" a game. Of course, if I bought every new driver that came out with their claims for increased distance I would be hitting the ball 450 yards off the tee!

You have a beautiful dog. She/he looks like mine:)

@Junebug2 Thanks! He is a bi-blue merl Sheltie we got from Sheltie rescue last August. He recently turned 2 and is still quite a handful. We have always had Shelties, him being our 5th and all but the first from the Sheltie rescue center. Funny but he and the one other male we had were both of the larger size Shelties.
And that is his "summer cut" - quite short.

Phil, he is definitely a beautiful dog. I have a blue merle Australian Sheperd, our 3rd. She is also lively. I love watching her run in the back yard keping the squirrels on their toes...Glad to see you are recovering nicely.

Not doubting that...I sure thought he was Australian Shepherd.

Let's see, yesterday I rewarded myself for what I went through with this TKR by buying myself a new set of golf clubs (irons). Went to PT this morning then stopped at the golf course to hit all the new clubs on the range and get a feel for them. Came home and took the dog for a 1 mile walk. So far, I am not feeling any negative effects from all the activity. Fingers crossed it stays that way for the rest of the day.

I don't think I mentioned that at my check up last week my OS asked me if I were doing a lot of walking and I responded affirmatively and mentioned that I was also doing stairs "normally", one leg in front of the other both up and down. He seemed somewhat surprised I was able to do that at 10 weeks.

Are you my twin in another universe? We sure sound identical!
