I just got back from sitting for over 2 1/2 hours in a movie theater. I was really curious how the knee would feel especially when I stood up as it was the first time I have sat for that long continuously since the procedure. The knee never felt any different during the movie and was not any different when I stood up. I handled the few stairs in normal right-left fashion both going up when we arrived and down when we left.
BTW, the movie was Jersey Boys and we really, really enjoyed the music! If you are a fan of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and the music of that era I think it is worth going to see. I saw Mamma Mia, the play, in Vegas and at the end the entire cast comes on stage and sings many of the songs featured in the play. The audience stood, danced, clapped and sang along with them. The Jersey Boys movie ends in a similar fashion but the audience did not react the same, although I almost got up and clapped and danced. I didn't sing as there is only one thing worse than my singing and that is having to listen to it. If anyone has seen the play did the audience "participate" at the end?
