TLKR scheduled June 24. I can hardly wait. MAKO is my friend....the surgeon said my knee looks like a candy cane (he exaggerates) He also said I was the patient MAKO was targeted towards.

Left Hip Replacement: August 2017
Left TKR : 5th June 2019
Right TKR : tba

Just got my date for left tkr - 5th June. I am 2 years on from my left hip replacement and will need to have a right tkr later this year. Right hip still holding on!!! My hip was brilliant, but I have got quite nervous about my ltkr as everyone seems to be having so much more pain and struggle with knees. Still - it has to be done. At the moment when I stand up to walk I lurch around for a few steps until my knees click in and can take my weight. This is not doing my back any favours! Anyhow, here's hoping it is better than I anticipate. My daughter is only 12 and finds my postop recouperation a struggle as well xx Good luck to all June sunbeams!

I am waiting for my ortho office to call and give me a surgery date for total left knee replacement. I finished all the test today for my surgery clearance. June is the month!

Yes, hopefully I can get scheduled for this month. I finished all the clearance, so now I wait for the call.

I'm having a Mako assisted TKR of the left knee on 6/17 due to severe osteoarthritis and am knock kneed. I will be having the right knee done 6 - 8 weeks later.
