Good job @crhdeh on the weight loss. I've recently lost almost 40 lbs and it hasn't helped my knee pain either.

After both hips were totally replaced (anterior) last year (Jan.& March LTHR & Nov. RTHR) and doing well, I am going for my RTKR first on May 18th, the left will be later in the year. This right knee was the worst of all my 4 bone-on-bone joints, so I am looking forward to this one. This should help in overall relief and get back to some outdoor activity...

I have brought forward this month's list so that you can easily see who your surgical buddies are.

Welcome to our latest and all May Marvels!

Hi everyone-First time posting, but I was on this site daily 10 years ago when I had my right knee replaced. It's all techy here now:)) Reading about others' experiences made me feel normal then, so I am back and will actually engage with all you with all you brave people, instead of the stalking I did 10 years ago:) I am scheduled May 2 for my left knee. I am crazy excited to do this, as I have trouble even walking. Dr. took me off work due to the severity. Why do we wait so long to bite the bullet and say "yes" let's do this? I should have known better. Anyway, I had a tough time with ROM the first time and rehab took way too long. I am crossing my fingers that this time will be different. Looking forward to sharing our daily ups and downs with all of you other May Marvels.

I changed my name, was pallen50. Needed something different:). Could you please change it on your fantastic list so we all can keep track of each other. Well, more like so I’m not forgotten. . Thank you so much.

How do we really keep track of each other? I’d love to be able to check in and share with all the May Marvels. Is there a way to lump us all together in one thread on the pre-op side?

Hello again Bonesmarties! Left knee was done in 2017 and it’s on to the right. Bonesmart was my lifeline on the first go round and I expect the same for the second.
