Welcome to our latest and all December SuperNovas!

Feel free post your surgery date in this thread, and I will add you to the list. Start a thread of your own in the Pre-Op Knee Section to post comments and share your journey toward hip replacement. Here's the link that gives you the instructions you need to do this:

To start a new thread, hover your mouse "Knee" on the blue line at the top of the page for the drop down menu. Click on the "Pre Op". On the upper right hand side under the "Joint Replacement Awareness Day" banner, you will see a black rectangle with the words "Post New Thread" in white. Click on this, enter whatever title you want for your thread, but do try to keep it short and sweet, then tab down to the dialogue box and start typing your post which can be as long as you need for it to be.

Yes I'm having knee surgery on my left knee on December on the 17th . In August I had my right hip replaced. I was not a member of this forum at the time of my hip surgery. I'm looking forward to limping along with others in the same boat!

I originally had a scheduled date for TKR on Nov. 13th. It was postponed to check on some cardio issues. The cardiologist cleared me for surgery and it is now scheduled for Dec. 18th. Just want to get it over with!!

Having TKR on right leg 12/11. Knew I was going to need one at some point in my life after all my sports injuries. After a fall in September, looks like 2018 is my year. Broke ankle and ligament damage in the fall too. Surgery for that was 10/11.
