2018 August Hot Shots - Are you having knee surgery in August?

Well, here I go again. First knee replacement was just 3 years ago and on August 13th I'll be having my left knee done. I've put it off for as long as I could. Time to get it over with. Onwards with all the appointments!

I am new to this and hope I'm doing this right. I am having my right knee replaced August 13th. I had my left one replaced November 1st of last year. I can't wait! I do have questions of fellow forum members, though, and must figure out how to post them. I'm going to look for a topic. Anywho, I'm thrilled to join the August Hot Shots. Here's to many years of happy knees!

To start a new thread about your recovery, hover your mouse over "Knee" or "Hip"on the blue line at the top of the page for the drop down menu.

Click on either the "Pre Op" or "Recovery" forum depending where you are in your journey.

On the upper right hand side under the "Joint Replacement Awareness Day" banner, you will see a black rectangle with the words "Post New Thread" in white.

Click on this, enter whatever title you want for your thread, but do try to keep it short and sweet, then tab down to the dialogue box and start typing your post which can be as long as you need for it to be.

By starting your own thread, you and your questions and concerns will receive the attention they deserve.

hi having knee revision on left knee. everything was a success 5 yrs ago in August. bilateral went perfect. upset about this revision. anyone else having revision
date is August 14

Finally got a date for surgery. I go in on 9 August. Just got home after a Pre-Op. Just need some advice regarding anaesthesia. I'm not sure which to have.
