LTKR on 19 January.
I have had knee problems for years. From the Army to serious hiking to long distance cycling I had always been active, always with more weight than ideal. I think that took a toll. I've been getting SynVisc alternated with cortisone for several years. In June 2016 I had a reaction and they drew about 52cc out of my right knee. I had had that one 'scoped in 2010. But, the left remains the worst so I'm doing that first. For several years the orthopedist kept telling me to "get older." After the reaction I was ready to fight and he looked at the screen and said, "We're running out of options." Boom, I had a referral and then, in September, a date. I can't wait.
