rescheduled for bilateral tkr Jan 10,2017 hopeful to have a great rehab and be back doing all the things I love by April.

I am having BTKR 31 January 2017.

I had a left hip replacement in Feb this year with an osteotimy (which is still healing) which has taken its toll on my knee joints.

I'm looking forward to getting on with life although a tad nervous about recovery.

Hi! Just came across this forum. I'm 48 and having a knee replacement on January 9th. I am extremely nervous.

Hi @RMasano
I think we are all pretty nervous about what's to come and how we will recover. Even though I live in Australia and the system is a little different, this forum has been invaluable in answering my many questions and educating me on what to expect, and being a bit of control freak (and an ex nurse) I like to know exactly what is going on. I suggest reading the articles and look through the posts and asking about anything you need to know.

Have a question, my OS only uses glue anyone else had it with glue? i don't find any pictures or anything..

@Haley4 My OS will be using glue as well. I'm not sure if I saw someone's pic in a thread or in the scar picture area on this site (in the sticky threads near the top of the knee recovery area) but I remember thinking it looked much nicer than my mom's staples looked this past summer when she had hers done. I'm looking forward to glue.
