What are you really looking forward to post-op?

Anyone have Horseback riding to get back to?
I rode once this Spring and could barely walk for three weeks! I have missed some great Spring/Summer riding!!

Yes, Steve, please start a recovery thread.

I want to go to the pony swim in Chincoteague, Va next year. It was today and I’ve never been. It involves a lot of walk And Misty of Chincoteague was my favorite book as a young girl!

Pain-free:
- three or four mile walks at lunch time and
- pain-free walks from the parking lot to the arena for basketball!

I'm looking forward to being able to have less pain. Moving hurts. Not moving hurts. Everything hurts. I just want to hurt less and look a little less deformed. Hoping to be scheduled for mine soon!

Although I don't ski, I'm looking forward to walking quickly without my knee swelling up. I want to walk up and down the stairs without pain. I'm having my second knee done on August 13th.

Looking forward to walking quickly again....haven't done that for years. Also just looking forward to planning to do things without having to wait until that morning to see if I feel up to it. It would also be nice to not have to use the handicapped bathrooms when traveling. All the commodes now seem to be about 8 inches from the floor.

Looking forward to two good knees (having my 2nd) that can go up and downstairs at the same time, not having to assess my bad knee before going shopping or anywhere with a lot of walking or standing and being able to keep up with my grandaughters at amusement parks especially Disney!
