Always good to get home away from the distractions of the hospital. You know the drill... REST!

It is nice not to be woken up every few hours for blood draw or to take measurements and pills.

:happydance:More good news and well ahead of schedule. The Poop fairy visited today.
went by rehab and scheduled my appointment.

Okay nobody get mad at me, it was a safety issue. My wife has had cataract surgery and she doesn't see to well at night. To top it off it started poring down rain and she veered off the road in fear because she couldn't see with the headlights coming at her and the dark to well. After we got pulled over and calmed down, fortunately I had all the Narcotics out of my system due to the reduction in pain meds due to Nausea. I drove the remaining hour home. Yes I could lift my leg and operate the pedals and push just fine. I just took my time and we got home safe.

I am at 10 extension and 85-90 flex now, and walked thee ward several times yesterday and the day before. Only thing I have is a weak firing of the leg lifts, but they are working. I think this block they put in after the surgery is keeping things from working right , plus the lateral release, no telling what nerve got cut. This PT should be much better than before. I have an appointment on Wednesday for the first eval. Been icing and elevating continuously. Ran through the early exercises I knew with no issues.

I slept all night until 3 am, got up, went to the rest room and went back to bed, slept till 7:30am. Did a switch off to tramadol after I got home last night since I hadn't had anything, and then did a Percocet at 3am. I am weight bearing on the revision knee to a moderate degree, but it is still soar. Plan to shower tonight in the shower chair.

Took my Tramodol, time for a nap, I will get a late lunch when I wake. I'm here by myself, wife had to go to work.
I am fine, I can get around with no problem and make myself a sandwich. I think I will do that now instead.

I'm glad to hear things are going so well for you, @wberry !
It sounds as if your recovery is going to go much better this time.

Keep taking things gently, especially PT.

Wonder how long before this femoral block wears off.
