TKR TKR Knee Pain 8 yrs out - Question

I don't know how to merge or where to find my old threads so thanks! I actually fell on the left knee but since then my right knee is starting to hurt. I know it doesn't make much sense to me either!

Shattered Right tib/fib. ORIF, bone graft surgery 1997
Right Tibial Osteotomy 1999
Right Tib/Fib Hardware removal 2001
Right Knee Orthoscopic Surgery 2002, 2004
Right TKR 11/2008

Left Orthoscopic Knee Surgery with Lateral Release 2004
Left TKR 10/2018

Even though you landed on your left knee when you fell, it's possible that your right knee was jarred or twisted during the fall

Falling seems such a trivial thing for little children, but it's much more disruptive as we grow older. It really seems to shake us adults a lot.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Hope I didn't knock the joint loose. I think that is my main fear. I went down with quite a fall. I think I'll just wait out til the 18th for the Preop and then if it's still not right we will know it's more serious and I'll be right there for the xray. I'm a pretty good indicator when something is wrong. I just don't know what is wrong. lol. Or if I should worry. When I've called the clinic they are trying to give me First Aid advice. Which is annoying. I'm a nurse. I know all THAT stuff. I just want them to tell me if they think I should have an x-ray but I guess they can't read my body over the phone!

Yes, that can be annoying.
I think you've made the right decision.

Yeah, it this point you may not be able to get in for an appointment for the injured knee before your already scheduled one. And in my experience the ER docs don't know how to order the right kind of xray for anything other than a "standard" injury.

I finally got the xray through the Ortho clinic. I wish I could upload them but I don't know. All I know how to do is log onto the website to view them. The report said it was okay though. So tomorrow I will check in with PT.
