Sometimes it’s like someone took a knife, baby, edgy and dull, and cut a six inch valley through the middle of my KNEE!

(I took some liberties..., sorry Boss!)

It's almost 3am here. Had a good few hours sleep x I'm so pleased that you're having a good day xxx

@Nana moon 27 I hope you can fall back asleep for a bit. I'm icing one last time before I go to bed. :-)

Super happy to hear the MUA went without a hitch. Hopefully some sleep and ice tomorrow, then some bending!

Glad things are looking up for you!

The block's definitely worn off, I feel discomfort in my knee and thigh muscles, but it's manageable. I don't think I'm bending quite as much as yesterday...But I have to get out of bed to really figure that out. LOL

Got up once during the night, but I didn't take anything as nothing was hurting!

Thanks so much for all the good wishes!

OK, the knee doesn't mind bending, but the thigh holy heck it doesn't like it when it gets to a certain point in the bend! I'm doing a gentle paint roller massage on the thigh at the moment.

First thing I'm gonna say to the PT, "is this where I come for a thigh massage?"

In other news, anesthesia has always been very binding for me, too. Yesterday I started the colace and the Miralax - fastest post-procedure BM for me, ever! (I know more than you wanted to know, hm?)

Very slow moving on the exercises today. I guess that's allowed. :)

He advised 20 minutes icing every hour for the first week, and keep the knee moving the rest of the time. Also to elevate as much as possible.

Taking Tramadol and Advil per his recommendation.

I love my OS. He came down to talk to the PT about another patient while they had me on the bike yesterday. I called him my hero and he blushed and when he left, I told that PT he was excellent as a surgeon and had a wonderful rapport with his patients. He said he had the best relationship in the OS practice with the PTs.

That's a good OS! How fortunate you are to have found him. My OS also has PT within the same location. I was always seeing docs come to check on their patients. Can't tell you how sad I was to leave PT. I was even wondering if I could get PT for my plantar fasciitis, but I don't like anyone touching my feet!

I don't like anyone touching my feet and since I had my original surgery my knees either. It's taken a long time to get used to the PTs touching my knee. It's each individual PT, too, I've had to get used to when my regular PT is off.

As a teenager a guy could never make a pass at me by touching my knee. I jumped a mile in the air! :-)
