MUA Tigz's Lessons in Patience

The Boss and I go way back...before his simultaneous magazine covers. Darkness is definitely my favorite album.

I agree. @JennyLynne am much more motivated this way. I guess it's a good thing?

Thanks, ladies!

This is so strange. I have my lack of bend stiffness but that stranglehold feeling around the knee has been gone all afternoon.

Oh drats it's starting to come back. Maybe it'll stay away longer next time. Wish I knew if it was something I specifically did that loosened it up?

The afternoon was spent listening to The Rising - a couple of times!

Makes sense that it would swell up more as the day goes by. But I still think the fact that it started out better means you're making progress!

I agree - not that I know a darn thing about it but I AGREE!! Yes I do agree!! hahahahahahaha:loll:

Born in the USA (Dancing in the Dark) is my angry tune. Funny how Springsteen is so good for that. Thankfully, I haven't needed it for a few years.

Almost all of Darkness is my angry music. I think it was just that time in my life, ya know?

@iivesfam5 hopefully you are gonna be so well prepared...and probably won't feel any of it!

Such a great feeling, Roxie, even if the darn knee isn't bending!

There's nothing like a good cry and to be on a pity pot for a bit. You just have to remember to get up off that pot, or you'll get stuck!!

@blujuju that is oh so true! I've noticed I've had pity parties that last just a couple of minutes and am almost laughing a second later. Makes me wonder occasionally about my emotional stability... But that's what the ride is like on this roller coaster known as TKR!

@tigz ... just looked back and saw that your MUA is scheduled for next weds? I will say an extra prayer for you tonight...I am sure it will be a piece of cake. Good luck if I forget to check back before weds... you will do fine!!

I'm in a holding pattern waiting for the MUA Wednesday. Can't decide if I'm looking forward to it or not. I have the usual stiffness, but pain, not so much. Wednesday, there will be pain. ;-)

Back to doing stuff around the house, I'll elevate and ice, get up do some more. Still unsure how it'll be potentially going back to work at week #12 which is only three weeks away. Gulp I have a follow up with the OS two weeks after the MUA so I plan to discuss any concerns then, and get appropriate documentation, if needed.

In other news, we have a potential buyer for my father's house, which is being sold "as is", and we have approval finally for his burial at Arlington. He only passed away March 9. Now to get a date!
