The cat question

I'll be thinking of you. This surgery has such a high success rate and I'm sure your purr-medics will be eager to see you afterwards.

I'm going to have a problem with my dogs. The little one (14-15 lbs.) sleeps in my bed every night and the bigger guy (20-21 lbs.) sits on my lap on the couch all night every night. They go nuts every time I attempt to sit in the new recliner. They cry, moan and even growl at me! and the big guy even managed to jump up on me once.

I had a two wonderful cats years ago when I had sinus surgery. I was just home from the hospital after an early morning surgery. My throat was so painful from that ventilator thing and I was propped up on pillows to prevent hemorrhaging. I felt absolutely miserable with a huge, swollen shnoz that took up most of my face when suddenly I heard that wet, gum smacking sound a cat makes when they open their mouth to bite your nose! :yikes: No kidding! I screamed for my hubby who came and took him out of the room all the while laughing hysterically.

fiddletwist sending you loads of good wishes for today and looking forward to hearing you are on the other side!!

am done!!! I was too sleepy in the hospital to post but I am better now and the purramedics are taking good care of me.

smeeagain, my two boys (Ben and Jerry) seemed to know I was in recovery. They really stuck by me but none of the madness that was normal. They were really a great comfort through my recovery.

As for up and down stairs - they will teach you all you need to know in hospital and you will be a pro by the time you leave - not to worry!
