It's happening occasionally to me tonight...not as much as last night.

I get this same phenomenon -- only on the BS forum and it can occur whether or not I am logged in viewing things. If it's "internet lag" wouldn't it occur in other venues as well???

well it could be due to outdated java or browser

as the software used by bonesmart is the latest version of xenforo which relies heavily on the latest "net tech" for its speed and stability (and security by extension)

So a site using older software or software not so heavily dependent on javascript wouldn't be affected as badly by outdated java

It's still happening to me on both my computers, only not as often. It never happened till about 2 weeks ago, still annoying. Oh, I have Apple computers and all software is up to date.

I'm glad that I am not the only one that it is happening too. It only happens when I am on BoneSmart. My son suggested that I empty my cache, but it didn't work.

It is also happening to me. I have started double clicking when I go to a new post and so far, that works. K

Still happening me and getting worse now. When I click on any link in the forum it goes to a white page. It's limiting my use of BoneSmart. Help!

I managed to get a snapshot of when a page does not load correctly. Here are the results. The important information is the web server reports an error 500. RichardRobins;

Ah is the safari java updated? As that is a safari bug with heavy JavaScript sites

I updated my java after Rich's comment a few posts back and I think that it has helped.
I have the same safari 5.1.7

RichardRobins; My Java is updated and their is only one Java for the whole system, not one specifically for Safari.

As that is a safari bug with heavy JavaScript sites

JavaScript is typically on the server side. Are you talking about JavaScript or Java, they are two separate things?

I seem to remember that the latest version of Firefox does not support some Java elements yet. I hate IE but have you tried using it?

Apple computers (which I am using) do not have additional Java plug-ins for Safari. There is only one Java. I checked again, both of my computers are up to date on the Java software.

Last night it was extremely bad as every time I clicked to go to a post I got the white page. This is very frustrating.

From the screenshot that I posted I noted that an error 500 is on the server end. Since it affects other members and we are using different browsers and we all seem to be updated on our Java maybe the error is server based. Have you looked into it?
