@Mojo333 Thanks for that link. Some really helpful information there. I'm still not supposed to go past 90° so I'll have to wait a few more weeks before doing some of these stretches. I had been using these in the past whenever my sciatica would kick off so I know for sure that they work. I did find a YouTube video yesterday, for pelvic floor activation exercises, which are super gentle but work like a dream. It does require getting down on the floor and back up again, without breaking the 90° rule (which makes me realise I really ought to audition for Cirque du Soleil). But I am icing the hip every night before bed and taking pain meds so I'm keeping it under control.
I have to say, I'm so grateful for this forum. It's such a huge support system for me. You really realise that when you have such an operation, the only people who can understand are those who have lived it too.
