Yes how are you doing @westiemom ?@westiemom , haven’t heard from you in a bit, how are you and the pups?? Slogging along here, day 6 of a nasty flu/cold, feeling a bit better yesterday and today. Haven’t been doing much PT, a little walking. Snow coming tonight, then very cold again, waiting for spring. Please send some warm weather up north!

Couldn’t agree more @Jamie It’s a hard lesson to learn when all you want to do is get on with your life, but you actually end up making things harder and often means you can’t do much after it. You actually end up working against yourself. So spacing things out will feel better x@westiemom . I suggest you not try to do marathon days like your trip to the doctor, lunch, and grocery store. Do one errand a day for a while longer until your body’s strength comes back.

There is no way I could have stood at a stove for that length of time for many months. I had a pretty good recovery and was walking over 10,000 steps a day by 3 months but standing for even 15 minutes made me very sore and tight. But just stood at stove for almost an hour cooking and bam - my knee is hurting again. Will go back to using the walker
Totally agree @Oldped. I think as soon as we see see any physical improvement we think we should be pushing for normality. It’s really difficult to hold back. And we lost our Black Lab last year age 15, still miss her.. I too feel bad I’m not pulling my weight around the house, see things that need to be done but have to let that go.
