I'm still around but haven't posted much over the last three weeks due to a family crisis.
That crisis is now over so I would like to post my thanks and appreciation of medical teams wherever they may be.
Sandy, I am so pleased you are back posting and I will catch up with your thread and all others over this weekend.
My new hips are doing just great - so glad I had them both done.

So thrilled that the crisis is easing, big relief for all
I have spent a lovely day surfing BS and posting.. so nice to catch up with everyone's progress.
We have dreadful floods happening here at the moment. I just read an article in the news that 3500, yes that's right 3500 have been evacuated across the state.
So pleased your recovery is going to plan. You have truly been my mentor from the first time you said to me 'it is a marathon, not a sprint and slow and steady will win the race'
