THR Second one - hope it's better than the first

I had very little bruising also.
What was she using...brass knuckles?:yikes:

Wow! That's crazy. Could you be low on Vitamin C?
Maybe you need to ramp up your strawberry and broccoli intake for several weeks before you ever let that one place hands on you again, lol. I hope that massage brought you some relief aside from the bruising.
Warm wishes for a great week, Bev.
Big hugs :friends:
@Bevlah

@Layla hi lovey. I take vitamins and eat lots of broccoli. She said my muscles were like concrete so I guess she must have put more effort in! Going again on Thursday.......:yikes::yikes::yikes:

Ok - I concede the Masochist of the Year award! I did let my PT give me bruises during a massage (I showed him the next visit how I could measure the size of his thumbs), but I think doing it outside of the PT context wins.

Hi :hi: Bev
Good luck on Thursday. Hopefully she won't be as aggressive and you find the massage relaxing.
Warm wishes for a wonderful week!
@Bevlah

Happy Three Month Anniversary to Lefty!
Hope your day is good so far.
Wishing you a peaceful relaxing evening.
Big hugs to you, Bev :friends: :loveshwr:
@Bevlah

@Layla 3 months really? That's crazy!!! Thanks for remembering and I hope you are well lovely lady x

I'm guessing this will be a renewed joyful Christmas with a wonderful baby to share it with.
Hope you have been doing well...fourth month was my biggest turnaround!
Hope it is the same for you!

Tis the season to be jolly :tree2;

Don’t worry about manning up; you have already proved your mettle many times over. Fainting isn’t a weakness, but a symptom that needs attention: blood pressure, meds, quick movement, so many factors go into a simple act, like standing up. I hope today finds you better and at some peace. Let us know how you are getting along.

Hey sweet Bev,
Hope you're doing well over the past couple weeks.
It's getting to be that crazy busy time of year. I'll bet you're going to spoil
that sweet little guy rotten for Christmas. :heehee: He's such a cutie.
Want to wish you a happy holiday season and a great New Year!
@Bevlah
:merry christmas: :nativity:

:wave: Happy Four Month Anniversary for Lefty!
Hope you're doing well.
Sending a hug and wishing you a great weekend. :friends:

Hi @Layla and @Mojo333 thanks for stopping by. Oh you know me slower than a slow thing recovering! My new bff private physio lady Alison( I love her!!) Is sooooo encouraging! She said we will get ROM its just gonna take some time. She did say my recovery will be more like 2 years possibly more due to the severity of my deformity. But I am taking the positives from that... At least she is saying I will recover!!!!! :dancy: the first person in this very long journey who has said that to me! So feeling more positive these days. The stretches I do in the morning really hurt deep in my left hip but yesterday after doing them I could just about put socks on!! By the end of the day I couldn't but that was the first time in donkeys years!!!! My back is still hurting like hell even with the deep tissue massahes. Worried I may have that for life. It just goes on and on eh? The grandson is an absolute joy, in that I am a very lucky nana. L:roseshwr::santa hug:love to you both x

Look at that face!!!!!! Such a joy

Nothing pretty than seeing Christmas tree lights reflected in a baby's eyes.

I'm glad you are keeping the good fight up and prayers for your back to give you a reprieve.
Mine has been complaining some too but I've been inundated with donations and overdoing it, so....

Hope your Christmas is Sweet!:merryx:

Aww, sweet baby boy pics! I hope you and yours had a nice Christmas, Bev.
Wondering how you're doing over the past month?

Happy Five Month Anniversary, Lefty! :yay:
Happy ONE YEAR Anniversary, Righty! :happydance:

Wishing you continued healing and all of the best in 2019. Miss you! :flwrysmile:
@Bevlah

Happy one year for number one!
Hope all has been well with you and you are able to enjoy your grandbaby.
Lots of best wishes for this new year!:friends:

Hi lovely @Layla and equallye lovely @Mojo333 I am ok thanks. Physio is going well and really helping but she did say that because of my disability it may take up to 3 years for full recovery! That's ok because it does explain the snails pace of recovery!! But I managed socks and putting on my boots the other day. My lefty hurt but I did it with the help of the stairs and perseverance! So all in all I am slowly getting better. Walking is so much easier now but lots of concentration on every step so I can't wait to walk without having to think about it!! Still not in the "so glad I had it done" club but maybe in another year eh? Grandson is absolutely gorgeous and is now 5 months where did that time go? He is as old as lefty! I still voyeur on this site but don't participate so much, life is too busy but I do appreciate what it did to help me through some very dark times. As you both remember my ROM is still rubbish. My physio says she will improve it with hard work so one day I will post a photo with my right foot on my left knee .Something I have never been able to do but I will get there!!!!!! I hope this year is a good one for you all x

Such a pretty lady you are..:)
And your grandson has grown So Much!
What a fun summer it will be.
I know you were hoping for more immediate results where ROM was concerned but one thing is for sure...those hips would just have gotten worse with time.
I know how determined you are and it sounds like your physio is committed to help...so I do believe you will get there!
Keep the faith, friend.:loveshwr:

Hi @Bevlah - it will come. I have noticed a HUGE difference between months 5 and 6. Ok I am not climbing mountains yet and had to force myself to be brave enough to get off my Leki but the movement is coming back and so is my confidence... . Still getting some swelling and scar pain when I overdo it but so much better. I know it will take me a year to get back to normal but I am happy with that. I haven’t been “normal” for years :-)
