those IV’s can be so painful... I remember how the nagging arm pain just can make us a little nuts. try ice to help the swelling... my prayers for your journey to bring you all that you need to sustain you thru this process. We all are here and want you to know that it’s a difficult time as many are here to support you thru this to a healthy recovery.

Checking in on you . oh how I really disliked those iv’s. A constant nagging reminder that pain is driving this day. So very sorry.. Sending healing blessing your way.

Thank you everyone,but things are not going well,my CRP has risen to over 100 and my leg is very swollen,i think the infection is still there no need to tell you how i feel or how i am going to cope. The team will decide on the next plan i guess deep clean or removal,it was never meant to be easy!! hugsxxx

My CRP is still rising and i feel poorly,they are taking me back to theatre later tomorrow to do a deep clean and put some sort of contual washing facility on pump. Who knows i can only pray and keep everything crossed,nothing else i can do except fight, Hugs to you allxxx

I know you must be very tired and I hate to see that you have to go back in to surgery...I'm assuming the pump you mentioned would be a wound vac?
They can be very helpful as my sister has had to use one several times for to severe diabetes and being a MRSA carrier.

I am thinking of you today and praying for you. :praying:

.iThank you Mojo, no its not a wound vac its like an irrigation that continually pumps water round,they know now they are dealing with fungus so feel they are in a better position,,then in another week or so they do another complete revision. I feel quite calm today,the sunshine looks wonderful so many people will be enjoying this gorgeous day.Big hugsxxxx
