THR Post Op Struggles

thanks so much, @Annekin . i did read some of your thread but not everything so thank you for taking the time to summarize your very complicated journey. since i got past calling it trochanteric bursitis and discovered it's much more complicated, things are starting to open up a bit for me. thanks again and hope your week goes well.

PS I'm in Canada which i think has lots of analogies to the NHS in terms of waitlists and difficulty getting tests.

you've really got me thinking about hydrotherapy, so I've looked around and made a preliminary inquiry with a Physio i quite like. (i took the GLAD program with her just before the pandemic.) just going to a pool or swimming or some non specific aquafit just wasn't sitting right. we'll see if this goes anywhere but right now i feel hopeful. thanks again for your thoughtful input!

Hi @FleuveStone

Hydrotherapy has definitely been my saviour. My hydrotherapy pool is outside in the garden of the physiotherapist. It's a warm pool so you can use it all year round, so it's very mindful. I'm also quite enjoying the exercise bike. Although ask me again in a few months time when the intensity of the exercise has increased!

Keep me updated as to how you get on.
