 Happy One year Anniversary, Razorback!
Great to hear from you and learn you're doing well.

I am over 15 months out since surgery and I am doing well. No pain and it is the best thing I have ever done. Now I have been diagnosed with two tumors in my abdomen and I am having to figure out what needs to be done about them. I know one is a Neuroendocrine tumor and the other I still have to get biopsied. Thanks for all the support on this forum. It made it a lot easier to get through the knee surgery.

My June 2023 knee salutes yours!

I'm sorry to learn of your tumor issues and hope the second biopsy is benign.

Thanks for stopping by with an update. I'm glad your knee is doing well. I am sorry to read of your health challenges and will lift a prayer for some good news on your next biopsy and the best possible treatment plan for your situation. God Bless...take care.

Thanks for the update, @Razorback 1983! It's so helpful for those who are in early days of recovery -- or who are still deciding about surgery -- to read reports like yours!

It's good to hear from you. Have a great 2025!

July 5th will be three years since my left TKR and I have no issues with that knee. I just had spinal fusion surgery on April 9, 2026 and have been recuperating from it. I started having severe pain in my right knee before the spinal surgery and the surgeon said it was coming from my back. The back is doing great but I still have the knee pain. I went to see my knee doctor last Thursday and he said that I had bone on bone in this knee now and would need TKR on it also. I told them I would have to wait till I totally healed with the back before having it done. They gave me a shot in it to help with the swelling and told me they would contact me in September to get the surgery set up.

It’s always good to hear from our members several years down the road. I’m so glad that left knee is doing great! Those in earlier recovery need to read/hear this!

Would you like to change your title to mention the 3 year update? :thumb:

Best wishes with your recovery from spinal fusion and I agree, I’d let it totally heal before embarking on another TKR surgery.

Thanks for coming back with an update!

 Hi Razorback,
Wishing you an early Happy Three Year Anniversary! It's so nice to hear from you.
Thanks for checking in, we appreciate you taking the time to do so. Your message will encourage others following after you.

I'm sorry you had to endure the back pain that led to the spinal surgery and recovery. Great to read it was a success and you're doing well! It's unfortunate you need your right knee replaced, but I'm sure you'll do well and appreciate losing the pain of a deteriorating joint.

Please let us know once your TKR is scheduled so were able to update your signature. Hopefully you'll share your pre-op and post op journeys with us. We'd love to support you along the way.
A great week to you!
