Fifi, I have had a few bumps in the road since my post-op return to home first week of April....
and had to have an out-of-state trip to a specialist...back home now and finally able to get back
on BS and doin catch-up...

So sorry to hear about the bumpy road you have had, but oh it is so good to hear your are home :loveshwr:
Know you will continue to make progress and your body and your incision will heal amazingly well now in your special place you love as home sweet home, you amazing Rainbow woman !

How wonderful that you return to your beloved four-legged paw-paws too...as I get further down my pathway and certainty that I am out of the woods (of my hematoma infection) I hope to be bringing a precious four-legged paw-paw baby into my life....(my beloved two dogs made their transition last year and so deeply missed).

Blessings to you every step of your recovery pathway :SUNsmile:

Hi there Fifi -- it is so nice to read your update. Want to know something truly odd? I was just thinking about you this afternoon and was planning to look up your thread and send you a shout out! You had such a tough start but from what you're telling us it sounds like things are improving. I'm s-o-o-o happy for you. You take care and keep us posted-- all the best.

Hi Fifi,
Like @HollyB I was thinking about you. Well done for getting through a horrible time. What a way to loose weight - you must be really strong willed! It seems ages ago to me that you had your op but its only 6 weeks. It lovely to get back a bit of "normal" isn't it, hopefully more sewing classes for you. My equivalent was when I got back to swimming.

Really good to hear from you. x

Not getting brain to work is a Leginism. Good progress tho nice one.

Wonderful to hear that you are doing well and progressing with your recovery. I was like HollyB, and have been wondering how you were doing.

Good to hear from you @FiFi - and great that you are doing so well now, and getting back to normal. Keep that young man on the shopping duty for as long as you can, bars of choc on the essential list :) I am supposed to be on a fast day today (trying 5:2) but due to inexcusable consumption of red wine round a brazier last night, I am in need of milky cereal. I too have about 25 k to shift, and I know that the walking alone won't do it. Sigh.

Have you had lots of rain over your way?

@FiFi Its good to heat that you have reached the six week stage and that your recovery is going well.I recently heard from your sister craftdee that you choose the slow and steady approach which has paid off.So well done and I hope the rest of your recovery goes well.
