Niki, I see you have a :sigh: beside your MUA - don't think of it negatively, as a failure or a set back. Think of it as a means to progress your recovery exponentially. It's just another step in the process that some have to go through. You'll be fine afterwards. :thumb:

Niki I'm honestly excited for you.
I think that it looks like this will be the missing piece to get you where you need to be.
I will be rooting for you and wishing you the very best on the 14th!

Ha! Josephine, when I put :sigh: on there I actually thought you might comment on that because I've heard you say that before or read it in your article on MUAs. I don't really think of it as a failure, but it does seem kind of negative to me--definitely feels like a set back. I just commented to my PT today that in the last week or so I FINALLY feel some relief from the tightness and that swelling feeling--and now I've got to go do this, which I'm sure is going to put me right back into that tight, swelling kind of feeling again. But hopefully I will catch back up quickly, and I will be so happy when I can bend my knee enough to put my "knickers" on like a normal person! :loll:Okay, check out my signature now!

I know you are relieved and happy to get this all over with. :yes 4: I hope it brings you everything that you need for your flexion. You have worked so hard and deserve a great outcome. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. You go girl :yahoo:

Anything I have ever read about after having an MUA has been positive. People say they just go in...take a short nap and wake up and wonder what the big fuss was about. I am excited for you and will be thinking of you on Tuesday...Valentines Day! :thumb:

Hi Niki,

Hopes and prayers go with you tomorrow for a successful outcome. I am confidant this is exactly what you need. Post with an update when you can, we will be waiting!

Take care,

Dawn

Oh, thank you so much everyone for your well wishes--and your prayers. I am actually more excited tonight than I am nervous. (That will probably change when I wake up in the morning!) My knee has felt seriously so much better in the last 10 days--the swelling and tightness have FINALLY started easing up a bit. So I am excited that once I can bend it to where it feels functional, I may actually be able to get back to my normal life eventually!!

I will check in as soon as I'm able afterward and let you know how it went and how I'm doing. Thank you for being there for me through all of this. I appreciate you beyond words.
Niki

Hi, Niki

Good luck with your MUA tomorrow - I'm sure it will help you get to the flexion you need. Sorry I've been MIA - very busy with work and also one week away (tomorrow) from "Buzz" (where does time go, for goodness sake?).

Sending you prayers

Rubysue
