Hope you ar doing well @hipster333. Sorry to hear about fil. News like that helps put life in perspective. One day at a time.

At home now. Thank you all for your encouraging posts. Still in a lot of pain, but it’s manageable. Getting all of my physio exercises done and think I may attempt a shower today, with help. Having a lot of problems with constipation. Haven’t been able to go since before surgery. The dr put me on a high fibre diet with mild laxatives. I know the iron and Percocet are causing the issues so I’ve backed off a half tablet on the Percocet to see if that will help. I think it was a bit too much anyways. So there are my goals for today: poop, shower, ice, physio, and rest. Mostly ice and rest. Very happy to be on the other side. How is everyone else doing? @Mascaramom @MommaT @Mireille @AgilityDog @WAHOOWA ?

Got the showering and poop done. It’s all the easy stuff now. :)

Hahaha!
As a former property manager I get it!
A lot of this :nah:
And this :no-fin:
And this :hairpulling:
Followed by this :martini:

Kidding aside....All in all, it was great!
@ladylorn

Yay! @hipster333
Laugh as you may....those are milestones!
Good for you! I'll bet you're feeling fresh as a daisy and ready for a nap.
Take it easy on the PT, honey....if you're hurting. Lots of icing and rest is
most important now. You're on your way!
Warmest wishes for a comfy peaceful day :friends::loveshwr:

I'm home. Snuggling in my own bed. Happy when the pain decreases. I think we have figured out that the most annoying and strongest features is the fibromyalgia

@AgilityDog oh no! The fibromyalgia must be horrible on top of everything else. :( Are the pain meds helping? I am definitely happier at home in my own bed. If I don't move every hour I start to seize up a bit, so I just make sure to go for a little walk to a different room then come back and ice. The physiotherapist at the hospital says my muscles are really tight and still trying to cling to the hip so it could take a little while for them to realize that they can relax and don't have to compensate as much anymore. Hoping for some pain-free rest for you!
