Had a several landmarks happen to us lately. First, my daughter graduated with her Masters Degree in Education Administration on August 4th...maybe she will be the principal one day.
Had to drive to Austin, Texas for the graduation and had a very theraputic talk with Dave and the kids. I am finally letting go, and coming to terms that I am not a long distance runner anymore. I will be ok with it because more than anything I don't want to damage my knee. Maybe a 5k here and there just for fun. But...I finally got my nerve up and met up with two different cycling clubs. One on a Saturday and rode 15 miles and met some very nice people, then the next day Sunday did a real fun ride with more wonderful people for 35 miles. So I rode 50 miles in one weekend. I liked it a lot!
Next landmark is that after 6 months and one week, Dave went back to work. He has worked 5 days now. Just part days at the office and some work from home. It is all coming together now. We had our 42nd wedding anniversary yesterday which we really were thankful for since I almost lost him in February.
Been working a LOT! Hope to slow down soon, now that Dave is back to work! I need to get to reading and replying on Bonesmart!! All my best to all of you!
