United StatesWooHoo!!It is so good to be back
and was home sick all day; then Friday woke with a horrendous migraine
around 3 am and decided to take another day. The weekend began with a call from our daughter who needed us to keep the 9 month old for awhile. She was headed to the hospice to be with her husband whose father was about to pass. We ended up keeping the little darling overnight, which amounted to almost no sleep for either of us. There's a reason God usually gives babies to YOUNG folks!
Tuesday was worse and Wednesday I gave up and stayed home again. At this rate I will have used all my PTO up before I get to try out the RV!
Plus they don't want people using the pool at the Y if they're sick so I may be waiting another few days before I can get back there. Hopefully the manufactured home park where I live will get the new heater for our pool installed soon so we can use ours! I'd use it without the heater except Seattle weather hasn't exactly been what I'd call warm and it would be similar to taking a dip in the Puget Sound. Brr!
! I find that standing in one place is the worse especially on concrete.
It's pretty bad when I use my breaks at work to find a quiet place and take a nap! Just a lingering cough now and I think I'm going to try hitting the pool this weekend (ours finally opened yesterday) if the weather improves. It's raining right now darn it.

) my feet will look pretty at the pool!
) to look under the bed. I'm still struggling with regaining strength in my quads and hamstrings so I have some difficulty getting up and Hubs had to assist. I didn't notice anything wrong once I was up, but that effort was the only thing different from my routine over the last couple of weeks. However, now I'm dealing with pain in my lower leg, just below the knee on the medial side. It started slowly and I limped along with it but gradually it became bad enough that I've started wrapping it with an ace bandage and using crutches on my commute because I feel so unstable. The knee itself is great, no pain there. It's just the area below the knee, along the front on the medial side of the leg. It feels sort of like a bruise but it also hurts when I put weight on that leg. Hubs thinks I perhaps pulled something while getting up.
It doesn't appear to be the knee (knock on wood) but an area adjacent to the knee. The knee feels fine, if a little tight. I haven't been able to do the walking I like to and that always makes it tighten up some.
