Congratulations Dawn - such a beautiful backdrop for a joyous occasion! I have no mil advice - neither daughter seems particularly inclined to add someone permanent to their lives right now - which is fine. They are only 23 and 26 - one still in grad school with Ph.D. applications on her desk and the other in the early stages of her legal career. Kelly's advice sounds spot-on ... I hope when the time comes, I'll be able to manage it!

Nice family photo. It fits into a crack of birthdays in my family on Oct. 11,13,15, and 17. We went on a color tour that weekend. This year has been fabulous for fall colors. Nice to see the family expanding especially when she can draw out the best in your son.
