Hi everyone
I had my LTKR on September 28 so just on 3 weeks out of surgery. The sleeping has been the hardest part of it. Some nights I have restless legs and cannot sleep. Luckily I have had a couple of nights recently with sleep most of the night which revitalises me. I ve found an early morning hot water bottle is comforting after a night of not sleeping and helps me relax. Might be time to bring out the soft toys!I’m doing PT at home and seeing a therapist every couple of weeks. I was doing it 3x day but backed off after my knee swelled up. Went back to 2x plus heel slides and a walk.My flexion is around 95. I’ve been reading blogs and feeling it should be more and I am still a way off stationary cycling. I’m finding it hard to not get drawn into comparing myself with others and then feeling unhappy with my progress. Thanks for the blog.
Good luck with your recovery
