It's very exciting that the hospital had a totally different effect on you-- I feel better knowing that for you.
Tape your razor to a ruler or a sturdy dowel, and carefulyy shave your own legs after your mother's gone. but take advantage of her offer-- speaking as the mother of kids your age, if I volunteered help like that, I would really truly sincerely mean it when I offered my help. Go for it!
