Well, here you are! I shall leave my best wishes here as well! Wishing you a successful and uneventful surgery and an easy, uncomplicated recovery. Can't wait for your 1st (even if you are drugged) post!

My wonderful surgeon that did my Thurday surgery was getting sick that day (I heard the nurses say), and his Friday afternoon appointments had to be cancelled. Dear oh dear, I think I'm getting sick tonight! Congested head, runny nose and sneezing just starting. I think I read that a virus was okay but anything bacterial was not, but can't find where I read that. Hoping it's the cottonwood, but I know better. Wouldn't that just be the kicker if they cancel me for a cold at this point? I'll have time to evaluate and call them before I leave the house if need be. Glad I don't leave until 10.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow.
Best of luck and enjoy the pain meds...
Sandy

Best wishes tomorrow. The toes are really cute and those names at my house from my 20 month old granddaughter are, Melmo and Kiki. Take care.:friends:

Thinking of you...good luck today! I hope that everything goes smoothly and your recovery is easy. BTW...:yahoo: I LOVE the toes!!! Hope to see you posting soon

Thanks everyone! Back to my photo, just wanted to show the toes off. Don't know how long it will be before I want to climb the stairs to get to my computer to do the editing. Can't do it from my iPad. Toes, however are going with me! Here we go!:dancy:

Janet, those of us who know can tell you're on drugs from your post---I'm not sure I could have done as well. But I didn't post for 2 weeks.

Hope things are picking up for you. It will be a little rough for a while, but you'll pull it off.

Take care, post when you can, we care.

Janet, Welcome to the recovery. I hope that your drugs are keeping the pain away as you go through changes in medication. Rest, rest, rest! You are on your way, and you cannot take too many naps. :friends:

Janet, Welcome to the "Recovery Side". Hopefully you have your pain under control and icing and elevating. Sounds like you will be starting PT soon - just take it easy!

Keep us posted on things - we are here for you!

Janet welcome to the recovering side glad everything went OK. I was starting to worry about you, praying that they get your meds correct.
Kim

Janet, I m so happy to hear from you!:friends: You're on the other side now, all you felt before this you can now put it all behind you in that pretty little head of yours, and focus on what's ahead!:thumb: A lot of rest, relax and ice and don't forget to ask for your drugs and ice! Every time I woke in the hospital and rehab I don't hesitate to ask for med or ice and I did keep track of when they gave me long term and oncoming pain meds!
Take care of yourself!:wubroses:
