Go Donna Go. It's looking good for you and are going well, enjoy the rest and attention at the Hospital it is good for you. Keep up the little steps you are taking on the new hardware!!!Went for 30 minutes today no sticks because worried you might walk past me on the promenade!!

Awe thanks guys. I am doing well. Yahoo says I am happy? Hehehe. Just waiting on my blood numbers...hopeful no more transfusions.

A woman I've been corresponding with via email and phone who had bilateral DAA Hip THR Nov. 10th by my surgeon stopped by today with flowers! Very sweet of her. We were able to compare notes. She said I'm ahead of where she was at this stage which was great news as she has done wonderfully!

Well I've written this message in bits and pieces so I hope it makes sense. I'm I'll have my blood drawn sometime early morning and find out if i need that transfusion. Oh well..I do want to be strong.

Gonna get some shut eye. Hope everyone is well.

Well done Pom, it sounds like you are doing brilliantly and in my humble opinion this really is the hardest part of having bilateral, it generally gets easier from here on and you will be healing twice the amount!

Cheers
Steve

You sound great Donna! I felt the same way after my op. Like the weight of the world was lifted. I was just wired with joy!

So glad you are doing well!

Good morning Donna, you sound so well even though you might need a transfusion. I'm so happy for you that everything went well and you are on the road to recovery. Take it easy and no shimmies! You don't want to move the new hardware. Btw I have been on my Pilates machine for the last 2 nights, just easy leg/foot stretches, felt so god. It's just a bummer it takes a workout routine to get down and up lol. But my hip feels simply normal, unreal after all those years. The rebounder will have to wait til Jan. 1, that's my next year's goal lol. Hope your blood count will be ok.

Wow! you sound like you are doing brilliantly. Keep up the good work, - but don't overdo it! You must be so proud and happy. Everyone's thinking of you. Keep posting.:thumb:
