Revision TKR I just got my new knee.

Hey just basically told me at @Jamie. That I've been on the Celebrex for three months prior to the surgery but I was on in December to then had to be taken off it when I had to go in the hospital in April but he said the Celebrex was not working at all for me because I should not have that much swelling. He said that if the swelling continues then you'll have to go in and drain it. And I said no no no because that hurts.

Thank you I appreciate all your nice encouraging words. Ice does help but I can elevate for a long because it aggravates me. Rest I get some not a lot more like catnaps. And yeah rebellious kids I don't need it but unfortunately have for next year lol. Anyways thanks for the kind words I worry. I just can't wait till this is all over and I'm back to doing my normal activity and going back to some kind of work. I hope that you're doing okay do that healing is progressing well.

I used Naproxen prior to surgery, it is a v strong ibrufen so yes eat with medication.

Thane a lot. Xxxx hope your doing well. Since you have actually taken it did make you feel weird? Celebrex made me feel weird like I was sleepy all the time. And I don't want to feel that way.
I want to feel the way I am normal LOL but I'll take the Nucynta and it doesn't have any effect on me I can live life normal I just don't want to feel sleepy hi incoherent. I don't want people to be able to tell when I'm on Meds... It's none there business. In KY pep nosy and lots peoples doing bad things and people knows that you got medicine they act weird.

This is easier said than done but you got to rise above what other people think is right for you and be advised by your medics, as regards your medication. I despise the medication(s) I'm on and concerned friends have tried to help me, they are right in what they said about the time span but when your doc, your OS and all other medics won't budge there's nothing you can do.

It is no one else's business what medication you are on and should be confidential between you and your pharmacist. If your pain medication is not working effectively then your progression will be slowed down. Could you perhaps go and chat with your doc and talk about your concerns or even with the OS on the phone? Xx

I do hope that you can get this sorted Angel. You deserve so much better xxx

Just really don't pay attention and nobody. Not being mean but have my state on drugs LOL. Now when you go to the doctors you have to take drug test. And they use a system called Kasper so they can catch people pharmacy hopping. This all crazy here. If u read news for ky. Pep is stealing for drugs. It's all crazy. I don't like take Meds. But I know I need it. Just wondering how long.

I'm so glad with my med ya can't tell if I'm on it. That's the way all should be. It's ridiculous the way pep go around these days.

Anyways today I woke up from a small nap. Cause I can't sleep at night. Legs keep Junp and cramp. But I was so stiff and swollen. Still remains swollen. Gez. Sometimes wish it was all over and I was back to real life. Xx

Not good few days. Been aching bad. I'm to the limit of not wanting to walk.
As I said I'd been trying walk some. Well that's out of question. My leg won't let me. It hurts and surgical swells.
Today at Pt I was on some kind weird ball thing. Just doin some balance. Then would move just knee back forth. Gentle. But oh my. I felt the rip in left knee. And then in the surgical I felt pull.
It did not hurt surgical knee it hurt the non. I can't wait till this is all over. Wish I had a date for the sugury. I'm getting anxious. I am so tiered of all the pain.
I have 2 more sessions of pt next week and I'm done. Yay me!! But not. Cause I dead no pt. u can tell a difference when I don't have it. Cause I have a noticeable limp and waddle lol.
Anyways just been so depressed here. Looking forward to life.

I know this is off topic. @Nana moon 27 u mentioned you have a beatiful view to admire when your up. This is what I get to see at moms. The roses usta have more on them. But a bunch bratty mean kids pick them. She has more just could not get the views. Xxxx to you.

Not a good day. My leg is so stiff and achy. The therapist was very gentle. Cause I told her I can't do anything like you had been doing. Cause it puts a strain on me. And leaves me in pain for a few days.

She was understanding. I know she did not like it. But she was nice... Think Pt cause they never had knee issues. They don't know how to deal with us. Anyways I pray that the next 2 sessions fly by. I need a break before other knee.

Not sure when it will be. But he know it's bad. I got the bad pain when I walk. And the rip feeling. May sound weird. But to me fill like my knee cap will rip out of skin. It's that bad.

Set today trying to get the stiffness out. Have my ice by me.

I am really really upset today. I thought that I was doing good. I went to physical therapy last week I measured 108 this time I measured 98 in bend. My extension was 5 to 3 after straight leg weights on it. So she measured again and it was 10. I don't know what is going on because it keeps getting worse and worse and now there's a lot of pain which I've told OS. Increase your meds x-rays are clear.


I know it is a roller coaster but I'm going down quick every week and I'm doing all my exercises I can at home. I try so hard but it puts me in tears the pain.

Thank you so much. I am Try but I do it easy and I slack off but I really get worried. I just don't understand one week my ROM and extension is higher numbers and then next time it's in lower numbers. I know that it's a roller coaster but it's kind of scary because my leg seems to be getting week.


I have been pretty much since day before yesterday to three days ago Setton iced and elevated because I'm afraid to move because it hurts so bad. And I have been taking my medication like I'm supposed to.

Thank you for the information. Yeah I do remember that my knee won't recover by working hard on it. And in all honesty I'm not really been doing that much just general exercise and walking. But sometimes I can't even do them. And then other times it doesn't bother me. The weird thing to me is though my band I can't being without it putting me into tears.
