My LTHR surgery was 5/2015 it is still dented in. They didn’t distribute the fat correctly. They didn’t think it was a big deal, I do. I didn’t come in there with a dent.
And now Ill be having my right one done in the Spring.

I have dents on both sides.

This is the scar at 14 days. No staples or exterior stitches. Just a waterproof bandage that was removed at my post-op appointment. It is an anterior, left hip replacement. At this point there is not much swelling or bruising but it was pretty swollen at 7 days.

5 weeks postop left, 2 weeks postop right. Looking at all of your straight even scars makes me feel like my surgeon was a bit of a butcher!

Day 8 out from right THR... the outer dressing came off yesterday and this still has the small transparent tape over the glued incision.
