A little over three weeks post-surgery and the steri-strips are off. Things seem to be going well.

September 15 and April 12 battle scars. I removed my steri strips on the latter today and there is still some residual goo. Idk why my legs look two different colors—I assure you they aren’t. :heehee: Maybe because one leg is nearer the window.

A lot Larger than the RTHR but seeing the scar makes me realize why my back and butt cheek are kind of achy.

Day of surgery and two weeks after, when bandage came off. [Bonesmart.org] Hippies scars - post your badges of honor here: NO CHIT-CHAT HERE PLEASE [Bonesmart.org] Hippies scars - post your badges of honor here: NO CHIT-CHAT HERE PLEASE

Dressing off - scar healing apart from the bit “causing mischief” according to the nurse., Keeping a close eye on this!

My scars 2 weeks post op. The lower one is removal of old hardware.

This is my left anterior THR minimally invasive surgery scar 7 years on. This was a THR then 3 months later I had a revision as the implant broke. So this scar is a little more prominent than the right due to the second incision and having to cut out the first scar. But it has still faded quite a lot. This is the right THR anterior minimally invasive surgery. Only one surgery on this hip thankfully. 3 surgeries in one year was enough for me. The scar is Approximately 3 inches long. It’s faded more than I expected it would considering this area doesn’t get much sun

Roughly 7.5 wk post total right hip replacement. Redness has gone down, not so warm as before. I’m hopeful that it’ll heal nicely. My bikini modelling career might be over though…

Here’s mine about 8 weeks post op. The dip is still quite apparent 4 weeks on. I’m calling it a “dimple” now- That sounds cuter.

My LTHR surgery was 5/2015 it is still dented in. They didn’t distribute the fat correctly. They didn’t think it was a big deal, I do. I didn’t come in there with a dent.
And now Ill be having my right one done in the Spring.
