THR groin pain?

Kgoody, my OS encouraged me to get back to my life as quickly as possible. I over did it too and it really can set your recovery back. I did not want to hear the sweet crew on this forum suggest that I do nothing for a couple of months as I am not a sit around person, but in all honesty, with one week sitting around and I have enjoyed two pain free days in a row. I think you are wise following their excellent advice!

Thank you so much everyone for your comments and help! I will definitely take the next two weeks much slower and not stress my hips or my brain
I will let you know how it is doing with a few days rest, ice and tylenol.

You know, my surgeon encouraged me to "get back to living" at my six-week check up. Then, when I saw him at 12 weeks, he asked what I'd been doing. I told him that I was walking a few miles every day and taking a Pilates class. He was horrified. When he said to "get back to living", he meant things like housework and maybe grocery shopping.

Now that reminds me of a time when I was renting a property and the kitchen was all cold tiles. Being winter I wasn't too happy and decided to buy a bit of carpet to put in the most used area in front of the cooker and sink. I was thinking a bit maybe 6' by 3'. But I forgot to actually measure it and when I got to the carpet shop, I pointed out a space roughly the size I needed and the man said he would deliver it the next day. Well, he turned up with a massive roll of carpet about 10' by 8'!
Moral of the story: never assume you know what the other person is seeing in his mind when you request or give information! They might end up with a totally different version!
