TKR FlaGranny 2nd Knee 9/26/16

Just back from PT. I'm at 90/5 but I know that will regress a bit. I'm cleared to go home. PT was painful but I did steps, NuStep, heel slides, etc. Now I'm calling for my pain meds. My left knee was 95/5
I'm sure eventuality they will both be better.

They took off the huge compression bandage and my knee is hardly swollen, in fact it doesn't look swollen at all. I'm sure pretty sure it will swell more but hope not.

I don't think the Exparel worked well this time.

It sound like you are doing pretty good overall.

Make sure they don't send you home until your pain meds are in order and pain under control.

That's is great that you don't have any swelling.

Happy to hear you are on this side of surgery and sounds like so far you are doing good. Hope you go home soon with the right pain meds to the comforts of home. Not to mention the excitement if seeing " your shadow". Best wishes.

The pain was bad. Couldn't put weight on my leg. It's better today. Knee is swollen more than it was yesterday. Finally have pain controlled and able to put more weight on it. I stupidly let PT person push my leg too far. I think that's what caused all my pain last night..

Oh my @FlaGranny , im so sorry you are having so much pain. Good thing this was not your first knee experience. I hope you start feeling better, and tell those pt goons HANDS OFF!

Right? I absolutely knew better. Knee ached all night. The aching has stopped now and I am comfortable.

A bit more progress in pain management today. Last two nights waking up in pain, but sleeping in between. The constant aching pain has stopped. I would say that today I'm about where I was when I come home the last time - 2 days behind.

I hope I'm making sense, I'm a bit dopey.
