THR Double hippy happy<

Hey @Mojo333 everything is going great with the left hip, no pain, stiffness etc at all.

Apologies for not being around much but we've just moved house so as you can imagine, it's been pretty hectic. Done a fair bit of heavy lifting and they've both held up well to the stress placed on them.

Hope everything is going ok for you:)

Have a great week all!!

Hey @Mojo333 and @Layla, well, I overdid it today and now my back is protesting loudly along with my knees...that's the last time I move a sofa on my own!! Time for a long hot soak and something alcoholic I think :D
I've earned it for sure.

Enjoy the rest of the week all!!

Oh no! I'm sorry, Sarah. Back issues are no fun. Good to hear your hips are holding up well though.
How exciting....a new home!
I guess moving a sofa would do it. With all that testosterone in your home you shouldn't need
to move sofa's, lol. With any luck an adult beverage and some rest helps you relax and you're feeling better in the morning. It's always nice to hear from you, Sarah. Thanks for stopping by! :)
@SarahUK

That's how I get my back flared up...I'm going to PT for the next month twice per week to work with low back/SI pain for unloading heavy boxes.
Some stretching exercises, TENS, Heating pad and kinesiotape.
Think things are improving..if I can stop agitating it.
Hope it eases soon.

@Mojo333 hopefully your back troubles ease soon.
@Layla my lads have been helping a lot. My 18yr old had an interview for the RAF yesterday so was unable to help and my eldest has sprained his wrist :( Felt much better this morning :D Still have lots to do and lots of rubbish to clear out of the shed but we're getting there :)

Have a great weekend and @Mojo333 take it easy!!!!

:hi: Wishing you a great week, old pal.
Hope you've enjoyed a nice weekend. Sounds like it may have been a washout over there though.
With any luck this week is sunny and gorgeous! :SUNsmile: Take care.
@SarahUK

Hi @Layla yeah, it's been pretty miserable here but the sun has been shining today:D
Finally got the shed cleared of rubbish today and can actually find stuff now yippee!!
If the weather is nice tomorrow then I'm hoping to get out in the garden and get some more work done clearing it out.

Have a great week all!!

How's our friend, Sarah doing?
Kids back in school yet? Seems you may be on a bit of a different schedule than us here...if I recall.
I hope you're having a lovely Autumn. Do you get a lot of color changes in your part of the world?
It's starting to get pretty here, reds and yellows starting to show...my fave time of year.
I hope you're doing well, Sarah, have a wonderful week!
@SarahUK

Hi @Layla, the youngest is back at school thank heavens, my 16 year old has started an apprenticeship and my oldest two are looking for jobs although my 18yr old is applying for the RAF.
We get loads of gorgeous colour changes, reds, yellows etc all starting to show now.

I have an appointment on the 2nd of October to see a consultant for my rather late 1yr check up on LTHR, so far so good, no problems to report with it. The RTHR on the other hand is still giving me grief. The steroid injection I had a while back hasn't worked as well as I'd hoped it would and I'm still having problems lying on that side, hopefully this new consultant might have some better ideas as to what to do.

Have a great week Layla and you too @Mojo333 :)

I sure hope so.
Hate to hear it's still giving you grief.
:umm:

Glad to hear that you are having a chance for someone with fresh eyes to consult with you. There is nothing more frustrating than not knowing what is causing your pain, and feeling like nothing is helping. It must be especially hard given that your 2nd replacement is seeming better than your first one. Good luck with your upcoming appointment.:flwrysmile:

Hey all!!

Well, I've had my belated 1yr check up :D All is going in the right direction. New consultant is very easy to talk to and he listens to any concerns. Had x-ray done of both hips, left looks perfect, no gaps at all.
I mentioned the right hip to him and he says that over time the constraining ring can loosen and cause problems, I've been told to go back in 2 years for another follow up and to check the right is still solid. He doesn't want to see me unless anything happens, pain or accident wise that may damage the hips.

All in all, one happy bunny :D

Enjoy the rest of the week and happy healing all!!!

Awesome, Sarah!
Thanks for updating. I hope you have a beautiful Autumn. :SUNsmile:
Stay in touch, always nice to hear from you! :)
@SarahUK

Great to hear all is well with your hip!
Hope the rest of your week is sweet, dear @SarahUK

Well, some progress regarding the right hip. I can lie on it, not for long but it's getting there. Managed 15 minutes last night before I moved and ended up on a sore spot. As long as I'm careful and aware of how I lie, I'm fine.

Spent the last couple of days sorting through paperwork, books, games and both hips coped well, no complaining off either of them and I haven't joined the ODIC either......yay!!

Have a great weekend all!!

:tada:So glad you are doing well!
Hope you and yours have a great weekend also @SarahUK

Well....yay for progress! Also, all that sorting you made it through none the worse for wear. Love hearing you're doing well, Sarah.
I hope you have a nice weekend!

Snow is t-r-y-I-n-g to fall here, but it's not sticking. Woohoo! It's NOT welcome here, not yet anyway.

Love and hugs :loveshwr:
@SarahUK

Hey Sarah, :wave:
Hoping all is well and Lefty continues to be cooperative.
Autumn is fading fast here. Hope you're enjoying some beautiful weather across the pond.
Have a great Saturday and weekend!
