Just to say Hi and I love your dog. Every time I look at it it brings a smile to my face. Thank you for sharing him or her? I have to admit sometime I don't read all the post so I don't know if you have let us know the sex. Remember to take care of the dog who brings smiles to my face. :doggieshmooze:Tashia:loll:

Diane thank you for the reminder, I normally can give it a few more weeks. I did get a pedicure this past weekend. There is a new type of polish I love its called Shellac its by CND its a great nail polish-gel so they dry instantly after being under a LED light and it does not chip for 2-3 weeks and stays super shiny like no other brand.

Hi Tasha...Miles is a little boy, he's really a little man now. I must share the last two weeks he has been trying to lift his little puppy boy leg to pee its so funny to watch him as he does it such an awkward way hahahahaha! He has also been marking alot.....I'm curious where he got the idea from, to start this out of the blue is funny!! Today he lifted his leg so high and stood in the position for a minute then peed on his foot I'm just laughing, but he doesnt care and basically is just a happy dog!!

He's laying here now ready for bed, he will be fast asleep shortly like me!

night night everyone....

Hi Sarah,

I looked for you at Costco yesterday... :th_heehee: That will have been my quarterly visit, still not up for that place on a frequent basis but thankfully my husband will go every weekend in the thick of things -- insane!!

Are you all done with your PT guy?

Oh well on the juicer -- you have to love Williams Sonoma and their return policy though, right!!

It's good to know that you and Miles are doing well. What did you decide on the NYC trip?

Have a good weekend,
Cardie

Hi Sarah, am sooo wanting a pedicure too, usually wait til summer--bare toe season around here, but one about now is a stellar idea, since am just barely getting close to reaching them (right side toes)--they are starting to look prehistoric...

I have a question regarding starting, organizing threads. Is there a way that I can have a techy guru on your side of the forum combine all of my threads under the first one, Going Bionic, Starting with a Hip ? or Bionica's Weekly Update, or whatever is appropriate. I started a new thread each week and then tried to continue under the previous week, but that would be 3 or 4 weeks out title, and am wanting to post a 6 week update soon. Want to keep this tidy, and don't know how to do it from this side. Could you let me know if this can be done, or how I can do this properly?

Thanks for the polish recommendation!

Ooppppps I had a hyper puppy boy bouncing around attacking me to go out for a walk earlier!

Diane all is great thank you, not to much to update. I have the dreaded dentist tomorrow early 7am for my gum-cleaning session I really really dislike going, last Thursday I called to push it out a little, then one of the ladies there told me my hygienist had picked up a new sonicare tooth brush for me. She goes to dental conventions and can buy these things at cost, when I go to my show I got all the ladies at dentist office clarisonic skin brushes (50% off) also get their brushes and other stuff. Soooooo. I felt guilty and called back quickly and said I would come up for cleaning yikes! It's a little more intense than a regular cleaning they into my gums, they have to give me gas and pretty much numb my whole mouth, I'm cringing as I write this. What will be new now is taking my antibiotics before procedure, picked the prescription up yesterday.

Cardie you are too cute about Costcos! I haven't rescheduled PT right now and am on the fence whether I'll return. My goal is to get better at cardio down in my gym for free! I feel really good, I'm this close to not knowing I had the hip done.

Wishing you all a groovy week!

Just thought i would share this documentary I watched last week about the foods we eat today. If you register on the link it's free and don't panic since joining last weekend I have not been getting tons of junk mail either. It's interesting to hear experts say what the food industry is doing is no different than the cigarette companies all those years back and basically it's the same concept how we are hooked on the junk in processed foods.

I'm really not a health food guru, I'm trying to learn how to eat better and feel better....it's all going hand in hand with quitting the smoking over a year ago and now my new hip! Without sounding all wussy I really feel Im in a second round of a new life and it's exciting. I just feel I can make more of an effort to help my hopefully long new life!

Here's the link it's about an hour and half of watching!

To go to another extreme, you can make up rules of thumb which cover a huge percentage of what we need to know in 30secs:

Do not eat it if:

-It's restaurant or take-away or
-It comes out of a packet or
-It's white (e.g. bread, sugar, rice, pasta, potatoes).

-Don't drink it if it's artificially carbonated.

No fun uh Roy!

I would completely run down to a local fishnchip shop right now and have chips, Cornish pastie along with mushy pees ohhhhhh and yes would still have salt and vinegar YUMMY! Washed down with a cold shandy :)

We live in glutinous times! It's hard to curb out some of these habits.....

Sarah,

So good to get your update...sorry about the dentist but just think tomorrow at this time it will be over. Your healthy attitude is great and catching...I'm going to make a nice salad for dinner. My OS recommends antibiotics before any dental work at all and for the rest of my life...I figure better safe than sorry and they didn't bother me at all even though I thought it was a pretty big dose to take all at once.

Glad you are forgetting about your hip, that is the best! Happy walking to you and cutie pie, Miles.

Hi Sarah,

Glad that your dentist visit went o.k. and how nice that you trade professional items with the hygienist! :snork:

I would think you are ready to be graduated from PT and just work on stuff in your gym too. I think that it a fantastic plan!!

Keep up the good work, :thumb:

Hey,

Just because you and John are close to not knowing you had the hip done doesn't mean you get a pass from exercising -- and no, Costco trips don't count the same!!

I'm guessing I'll need to have full blown dementia before I forget about my hip.... :th_heehee:

Take care,
Cardie

Cardie,

I just fell out of my chair laughing! You are so silly. I do get aches here and there.....compared to before the surgery its nothing.

HEY Costcos is a real therapy-work out session ~
