Excellent to hear how well you are doing. Here's hoping the stiffness goes soon!
Yes, you do have actual pain, my dear - it's the stiffness, the sense of something foreign in your knee, the soreness and discomfort - that's all pain. And taking one Tramadol at night and the occasional Aleve is obviously not cutting it. Take the Tramadol three times a day and Tylenol a,000mg 4 times a day, being ever 6 hours. My main complaint is stiffness now. I can't say I have actual "pain" but it just does not feel like "mine" yet and after sitting or standing too long it gets really stiff...but It still feels foreign in my body. And I do have muscle soreness. The only time I feel real discomfort is after a few hours in bed, it starts to ache... I take tramadol at night but otherwise an occasional Aleve.

United StatesBtw... The pain and "adhesion" aka the lump they are massaging is at D LB3 on the chart....Thanks Josaphine for the info on the Alieve, I did not realize that it does not have pain killer properties... I will go back to Tylenol. As far as the stiffness, I guess I just assumed that is par for the course and that it will ease. Throughout all my other joint replacements I ran into the stiffness thing and eventually it worked itself out.
