@determined21, I wasn't using anything because I just had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand and couldn't.

Hi there @Bluebell53 Good to hear from you. It's most likely just a sprain. If it persists, go see a chiropractor, he'll put you right!

How are you doing and how did the DR appt. go? Sure hope it wasn't anything serious and you are recovering nicely. Keep us posted.
 
Thanks all.. Drs appt went well. He said it is probably just a sprained muscle. It's already feeling better. Thanks for the words of wisdom.

I merged your recovery threads as per forum regulations. I hope you understand that it is so much easier to keep track of your recovery when we can see it in just one thread---we can see when your surgery was done, and what progress and what issues you may be having simply by following you in a single thread.

When there are two or more recovery threads, things can get a bit confusing and we have to jump from one thread to another.

I appreciate your understanding with this concern.

Just an update.. Sorry I had replied in a while. Well I'm back to work and I'm doing great. I ditched my cane last week. I can finally walk normal with no limp. I think what helped me recovery so fast was walking. I still am alittle weak when walking up stairs. No pain, but the muscle is still healing. I am very pleased with my recovery and the decision to have this done was the right one. My life is happy once again. I hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for the nope @Kay9 I couldn't find your note to reply back. I'll check in from time to time to see how everyone is doing. Thanks to all for the wondering support, I couldn't have done this without you all.

Good to hear that you are doing so well. I am still having trouble with the stairs also...but everything is getting better and better! I sure don't miss that old hip pain...how about you!
 
Hi all.. Here we go again... Home today with pain from the good hip. I have an appt with the orthopedic doctor to see what's going on. I'm hoping it's just bursitis. I just started a new job and I got married last week, I surely hope it's nothing serious but if it is I'm not gonna wait three years to get it fixed. Bad bones you can't control no matter what good foods you eat and all the good supplements you take if genetics play a role you're doomed. Hope everyone is doing well. Please keep me in your prayers today.

@Bluebell53 Congratulations on your recent wedding and your new job.I hope the pain in the other hip can be sorted with out surgery You will be in my prayers.How is the operated hip doing ?

@Bluebell53 congratulations on your wedding and your new job. Sounds like you are coping with a lot of new activities. Did you perhaps over do it? Do you do anything different in your new job like lifting. Praying this is just a bump in the road for you. Please keep us updated!
 
Hi all.. I just found out last week I have to have my right hip replaced in August. My left hip healed nicely and next month will mark my one year anniversary for my new hip. Hope everyone is doing well.

Nice to see you again @Bluebell53, just wish it was under different circumstances. I just had my second hip replaced and am so happy the journey is almost over for me (prayerfully). Thankfully you know what to expect and will have as easy a recovery as you had with your first THR. Will be watching for your updates. Blessings!
