Lmao @GrannyC I love the kickboxing smiley . I am not sure I'll be kickboxing again I'll be just thrilled to tie my shoes, put socks on...get down to flower garden and walk mostly pain free. That's my goal list.

Yes driving here can be really bad in the winter and walking on snow and ice. I hope to have that all in my rearview mirror come mid to late December. I should with my date. But oh I dread the first few ... couple weeks. Hygiene and pooping issues aside it wouldn't be bad.

I had hoped to share my smiled all day news but hubby threw me a curve ball. Maybe this weekend

I agree on the cheers to the spouses but there are those who are not so blessed and for them, recovery is a little more difficult. But they are strong and make it through it all on their own. It may take a bit longer but they make it. Maybe support from those on BS helps a bit, too.

You are sounding pretty chipper these days, MAG! Maybe as surgery gets closer, you will be a bit calmer as you think about getting rid of all that blasted pain you have. You will soon be like @Mojo333 walking straight and tall with no limp and brand new hips! Sounds great, doesn't it?
 
Sorry to be a drag today bc I'm soon on my way to Urgent Care bad night. Family doctor said go to ER I may not be too chatty tonight ... I sure am frustrated and can use Prayers ...thank you

Chatty, smatty, you now HAVE to at least post why and if you are okay then don't post any more if feel bad. We love you...my nerves are bad enough...how do I worry about you on line. Because you have helped me through some awfully tough stuff.

Sorry all I cannot catch up with your threads tonight ... urgent Care seen me to ER ... ER doc said contrast CT was good minus gall stones.....blood urine all good...sodium low....to see gastro in 2-3 days. ER doc wanted to keep me overnight till gastro could come in only cause he is worried on how painful my tummy is but whoever decides to allow him to admit me said send me home as no bad tests...prayers ...
I am fed up with my life....he is getting me into see gasto asap. He said CAT with contrast would have shown anything that would kill me. I liked the ER doc
 
Well let's cling to the ER doctor consoling you with the fact that the CT scan and labs haven't turned up anything threatening. I'm so sorry you are in distress over this and suffering pain. Many care about you and are praying for you, so hopefully you can relax enough to get some decent sleep tonight. I pray you receive a diagnosis on Mon or Tues and can get some resolution. This has gone on long enough. We are all rooting for you @MyAussieGirl.

Aawww @MyAussieGirl I am thinking about you and sending prayers and positive thoughts your way. Low sodium is what caused my mom to land in the hospital. Hopefully that gets regulated as it can cause all kinds of symptoms and issues. It may be the root of your problem but I sure the doctors will get you the bottom of it soon. Do you have gall stones Too? I didn't understand what you were saying in your last post about that. Keep up your probiotics and be sure to keep up with drinking lots of water. I wish you well. Thank you all I'm not too chatty but yes I have gallstones but doc sez doesn't explain my symptom ... I saw on Mom I checked your page one of my first things home. My sodium is often low but more so now...still not what this is about but on your mom..tell her it can cause light headed ... I always run low but mine was lower ... I got a bag o fluids but that doesn't fix low sodium in me just for a short time
I am on the right track ER made sure to cover me.... Huge hugs

They just need to get this figured out. I really hate you are having this trouble...especially after such good results from hip surgery.
Reminds me of the 2 years that I was misdiagnosed for hips.
Big list of what it wasn't...hopefully process of elimination will result in diagnosis. So annoying!!!
Hope eases off today.
 
@MyAussieGirl Ugh but also great care at ER! I was pondering in the middle of the night...I had a friend with hard-to-dx stomach pain, he went through things like putting paper cups in the kitchen and bathroom, and clorox-ing his toothbrush daily, to keep germs at bay....but I don't know the punch line! I don't remember what it was finally determined to be, only that he got relief and is apparently still symptom-free 20 years later.

Maybe it's something like a sudden gluten or casein intolerance-- I know those can have digestive manifestations. Sounds like this gastro dr will be of great help! And your ER dr's line about "the CAT-with-contrast would have shown up anything that would kill you" is priceless-- a great way to reassure you, I thought!
 
Yes I will entire the light headedness with low sodium too, I think it's back up some now that the chest pain is gone. @MyAussieGirl I sure hope you are doing better today and can enjoy your church day. Are you still taking a good quality probiotic maybe the kind that are in the fridge at the health food Store? Sometimes they go on sale there too. Mine are 30 dollars for a 3 month supply. I wish you well. Cheryl
