Adorbs...how does that turn into dry? Y'all I need glasses and less auto-correct. Remember DAC!!! I had Jo edit a post with an acronym that is apparently obscene as it gets and I had no idea what it meant or how it got there. Sorry MAG..you KNOW that was a typo

@Mojo333
I was wondering what a DRY dog was too, haha!
Auto Correct can be so annoying.
There's truth to the saying "I correct auto correct more than auto correct corrects me."

Picture of my cat. She was the Principal dancer with ABT that year. The Nutcracker. I wonder if someone will tell me she looks...dry

So my day by MAG, holy cow Batman ... I have 2 phones one we seldom use it's an ER phone only. So 1 hr of lol phone tag with my OS scheduler.... Finally we hooked up. I explained only have the doc use that phone if I croak as hubby will have it day of surgery. The hospital I chose is 90 miles from us but very nice. Dread the long ride. I also like the fact my doctor has his own wing they built for his patients. The nursing staff he likes the most. I could have had it at a bigger hospital but I visited my FIL there hated the place. Plus I can see water a lake from parts of the hospital.

I will go to get my blood work here and don't need to see him so I'll see him on September 13

I honestly wasn't tense at all on hip one this one I am for some reason.

A huge plus is things I needed to know and didn't I learned like lots of grabbers in all rooms, asprin for only 2 months not 3 ...take less Percocet, Don't worry going off it. Don't live on stool softeners but have Mirolax, fleet throw away enemas, glycerine suppositories, Prune Juice, how to get hair washed in kitchen sink till I can get in shower....start sitting projects ahead so I look forward to getting to them ...TV new season will be on. Garbage can small on kitchen counter ...stuff I want to drink higher up. Mostly my hair and poop knowledge will be less stressful for me now

As it's quiet I can tell you something I've been meaning to tell you all for a week and a half. I had been meaning to get a thank you card and fill it out to my husband. I finally gave up and told him I kept trying to get there but things came up. I told him I wanted to get a thank you card and thank him for all the things he did before , during and still after surgery. I said ya know we've had a few really bad years together and I didn't think you could ever impress me again but man you've really been so Christian and I didn't miss a thing you did for me not one. I can't ever thank you enough from being woken up cause my sleep socks made me hot, to scrubbing my toilet ,all the meals, house work , taking care of the pets.....he had tears in his eyes..... I said you kept a good attitude never blew up at me ..thank you.....he never let me finish it all. I then said you sure you want to do it all over...he started loling and said ....no but you need to get it done and no thanks we're needed that's what you do.

We are really so lucky. Mine did all the same. Plus he was backup for all things at food bank and my family.
I don't know how I got so lucky.
But it is no more or less than what you would do for him, although I believe I would've told Murphy to buck up a few times when I was whining over seriously small things.
Your kitties are adorbs. Not dry at all.

Love the lab and kitty pictures, MAG. They are all adorable. So glad to hear you got your next appt. Sept is a good time for the surgery since all your driving to and from hospital and doctor will be all done before the snow flies. It's hard to plan long trips in the winter in the north country!

It sounds like you've bounced right back to your cherry self. I agree with @Mojo333 that you are lucky to have such a great husband, aka The Saint :yes!:, as named by @Layla . That sure helps a lot with your recovery! We will all be here cheering you on when you have your next surgery. Then by spring you will probably be back to kick boxing again:dancy: that's the closest I can find to a kick boxer.

Cute kitties too @MyAussieGirl. Those green eyes on that one shot are mesmerizing!

I told you hubby is a SAINT! All you had to do was mention he was ready to assist you in
collecting those dreadful samples and I was sold! But that man is lucky in the sense that he has himself a kind, loving, softhearted sweetie who is as silly as the day is long. He has to be entertained by you as we all are!!
Many relationships weather rough patches before they level out. Marriage isn't easy as most will attest to. You two sound as though you're in a great spot. Continued happiness, Aussie Girl!

My husband was great too. You just don't know how they'll be at playing nurse until they're tested. The thing that amazed me most about my husbands care during the first two weeks was that it was necessary for me to wake him in the middle of the night, every night so I could pee. I hated calling his name. I felt awful even trying to hold it longer some nights until I realized it was silly and I was going to end up needing to wake him anyway! I slept on a recliner for two weeks, he was in the bedroom. I had to wear the DVT cuffs while sleeping. He'd get up, wait for me to clunk into the bathroom with my walker, back out to the chair. He'd get me fresh ice packs, hook my cuffs back up and go back to bed. I had to laugh one night...I called his name.....then when he answered I said "Can I go to the bathroom please?" His response was "I don't know, can you?" It was funny, as he meant it to be but I can't say I could exhibit the same sense of humor after being roused from a dead sleep!

Love ya Aussie Girl, hope you have a great day! The rain is here and it's only 63 degrees right now......I'm sending it your way, haha.

@MyAussieGirl MAG wow all that wonderful stuff! I'm so glad you have a date, and that it's only 6 weeks. I am in the group of people who get more nervous for the second, and I hadn't thought I would! I think I was thinking, ok I've done one unknown and came through it, oh yeah but this is a whole new unknown so I guess I'm nervous! Ah well. Yes, it's the little details that really count-- wash hair in sink, etc. I was able to pull the house prep off in just a few sessions because of what I knew. All you'll have to do is leave things the way they are.

And those cat pics and the dry puppy-- I think we have a new superlative! "oh girl, that's just soooo dryyyy!".

The Saint Husband Club, yep. Whatever it is they do, they are saints! Yours really does take the gold medal though-- mine would do poop samples if asked (he didn't peep when faced with his first poopy diaper, well ok, he was gagging, but you know what I mean LOLOL) but I'm not sure his volunteering goes beyond "whatever you need". Which he does follow through on. A toast to them all!

I'll catch be up in here late....Thanks all I gotta eat some mint no sugar added ice cream .... Hey gotta!!! Back later. :badspidy:. I like this creepy dude

Oh my I know I would have blown up at my hubby @Mojo333 over some of my Boo Hoo stuff. I usually am not whining but yet no shower 5 weeks ugh. Thank you I believe my kitty is cute too. Still my lab holds my heart.

Aww @Layla you're too sweet I don't see myself as all those nice things but I love that you do.

I had to lol I had to wake my husband many nights ...most to get out of bed because I got caught up by in the bedding. He was very good about it. Me mess with my sleep and you die. I have um sleep issues.

I am still not sure on staying with hubby way into future but we shall see. I just had to give him the credit he is due. You're hubby sounds sweet too same loopy sense of humor we all share here... I am glad I didn't have those socks you had but they are supposed to do the job well.
