But what comes with palm trees and water is humidity. Walk outside for 5 minutes and you're soaked; not so good for arthritis either. @inthebeginning absolutely love the pic of your boxer, Boss. That guy is absolutely gorgeous! I bet he loved you taking him for a walk :dogwalk:

OMG, I'd never leave the house, Boss & Snoop, love it! :roseshwr: I'm actually a midwest girl so I'd rather have the 4 seasons. It's late in the year for you to get it but I'm one of the weirdos that miss the snow! Hope the glute pain is getting better!
 
One loss by a buzzer beater and one solid win. So far 3-1 in this tournament. 8 games to go spread over 4 more nights the next two weeks. We play the team that beat us in the final game of the tourney!

I'll bet sitting on that bleacher seat is comparable to a long car ride early into recovery.
I think it's more about the confinement and inability to move or shift position easily that gets us into trouble.
That's how it felt to me anyway. What about a cushion underneath it, or on top of the canvas? Just a thought.

@Layla Actually, I am able to stand up and stretch during the games. I always get up and walk a bit during halftime just to move. The problem there is, more walking.... I feel trapped!
I’m really feeling held back without proper PT. I enjoyed such fabulous improvement last time with PT. I can’t wait!!!!

Today is one month and I have to wait almost two more weeks to see the doc before I find out if I can even start PT.

Awwww, you remembered!

Feeling good today. Those stretches already seem to be working on the glute/piriformis issue. Today is only in the 40’s and cloudy but we bounce back into the 70’s tomorrow!

Just put a call into the infectious control doc to check on that second sample. I was told that we were to wait 4 weeks for final results. Today is 4 weeks, so let’s go! I’m sure as the doctor said last week, that positive result was probably contaminated somehow and there is nothing to be concerned with.

Saw my holistic medical teammate this morning. Things are looking good for 4 weeks post-op. Some digestion functions are a bit out of whack. So up the probiotics and add an anti yeast supplement for a couple weeks. Should be good to go! I also brought in my old hip. Had her test it to see if there were any reactions from my body systems she could measure. Nothing showed. So, her tests showed what the blood tests showed regarding any possible allergies or reactions to the device.

@59billy I was snooping around the freezer. I found some baby backs that are thawing for a trip into the smoker tomorrow!
 
Sure glad I got in here before midnight for that Happy Anniversary!!! :yay: Sounds like some baby backs are definitely in order to celebrate! Funny but I haven't read any wild excursions from you lately, it sounds like you're doing well and avoiding the lectures. Or keeping them secret, lol!
 
Ribs in the smoker. It will be a grillin and chillin kind of weekend here in the good old US of A!
I'm looking forward to some family time grilling, sunshine and tunes on the deck and even tipping back a glass of vino....or two, lol. It's predicted the weather is going to cooperate :yes!:

Day 31.

My daughter celebrated the end of elementary school today! Hard to believe we now have a middle schooler and a high school junior! Schools out for summer.

The ribs are on the smoker.

My hip feels great! The stretches are working wonders. Sleep is still improving. Spent a good portion of the night on the op side!

The weather is supposed to be great through the weekend. Back into the low 70’s which is right where we should be.
