TKR 6/27/25 2nd TKR this time left

Regarding pedicures, I have stopped using shellac. Shellac contains aminochromoglycate which is also found in bone cement. Repeated use of shellac can lead to an allergic reaction to this substance- which is a problem increasingly affecting nail technicians.
I don't want to risk even a small chance of becoming allergic to my implant.

Misprint- should have said acrylates- but the point is correct.

Hi @Bebita

Checking in to see how you are doing since we haven't heard from you in a few weeks. If my counting is correct, you are 8 weeks post-op today.

Give us an update when you have a moment. We'd love to know how your recovery is progressing.

Hello Bebita!
You've hit another milestone...Happy Two Month Anniversary!
I hope we did frighten you off with our naysaying over pedicures. We're all free to do as we choose and if it's a relaxing perk that you enjoy and you received a nod of reassurance from your surgeon...enjoy those pedi's!

How is your recovery going at two months? Hopefully you're pleased with your progress and slowly getting back to all that you love. Let us know, we'd love to hear from you.
A great rest of the week to you!
